Rin rested her back against her husband's chest and smiled brightly. Her head was tilted back to rest upon his shoulder and she looked up at him happily. However, the happiness in her eyes soon faded and she looked down at her hands which were in her lap, Kyo's arms around her waist.

Sighing softly, Rin found her voice to speak to Kyo so he could at least answer the question that had been stressing her out so much. "Kyo...do you...do you have to go to war soon?" Her golden eyes were full of concern and worry, her facial expression one that of sadness and despair.

She sighed and touched his hand that was still wrapped around her waist. "Please....promise me you'll come back....and that you wont get hurt, die...or leave me here...alone...." She meant everything she said and looked up at him once again, her golden eyes lined with heavy tears.

Vector stealthily dashed from boulder to boulder, and ducked under whatever object could cover her from potential spies. She knew that someone as powerful as Kyo would certainly have spies under him, making daily rounds in the vincinity. Kyo was no ordinary person; everyone knew of him in this place. He was a hot topic for gossip. But Vector wouldn't let that deter her from accomplishing her goal. The heat was terrible. Her metal armor was searing her. It would certainly cause burn marks on her skin. Sweat soaked her body, only to be evaporated. "Vector! It's hot!" "Yeah, I know. I'm ignoring it. Mind over matter: another well-known ninja technique." Genesis watched through her eyes, as if they were a video. She felt and heard everything Vector did. They were one, and they were trapped in the same body...in the unbearable heat. After a few minutes, she couldn't handle it anymore. "I'm going to pray," she announced. Genesis knelt, in her mind, and clasped her hands together. "What are you doing? Do you really think that--"

A soothing feeling cascaded through her body. It soon readjusted to the temperature. Sweat no longer dripped down her body in puddles, but more slowly. Vector dropped her jaw in amazement. "How'd you...bah. Figures. I've got my own techniques, and you've got God. We're even." "We're working together, remember?" Genesis gently reminded her.

Kyo grinned and kissed her softly, and held he hands, but he felt overwhelmingly tired. He hoped he wasnt coming down with Rins sickness, but he thought it was probably stress. he kissed Rin again, before falling asleep, in her arms, and he murmered,"I love you..."

Vector continued to snoop around the area. It was not hospitable. Genesis's body was something she would have to get used to. She then wondered whether he actually had spies. She hadn't seen a single one. Well of course, they weren't supposed to be seen. But she would see soldiers patrolling around the castle. She was still a good distance away. Genesis was still watching through her eyes in the safety of her mind.

A loud roar overpowered the sounds of the volcanoes and lava geysers. Vector dashed behind a nearby rock and kneeled low. The roar repeated itself. "I hope I can use magic in your body...let's see if this works." Vector mumbled a spell beneath her breath. She simply faded away into the background until only her shadow remained. A black figure soared over her head. Vector squinted her eyes. It appeared to be a horse, black as night, with wings. "Nightmare," she breathed. Genesis gasped in awe. "I've never seen one before. Wow...I didn't know that they could be so beautiful..." Vector motioned for her to be silent by raising a finger to her lips. Several cries broke out at once, and many more nightmares soared into the sky. They flew straight overhead and made a sudden swerve to the right. Vector turned her head. "I wonder where they're going. Perhaps we've disturbed them?" She cursed her luck.

wakes up and sit sup suddenly in his bed. HIs pupils became smaller, as he opened his eyes, but they still had thier red tinge. He had seen her, and felt her here...someone...unknonw to him yet who it was...he thought...and than remmebred the first night he met Rin, when he was still an Odah...the perosn...Vector...they were here...but what was their plan. his chest heaved up and down as he panted.

Kyo got up quckly and said in a houtre, raspy voiuce,"She...shes here..."he got up and looked out the window quickly. All was quiet, and he tooka drink of water, and ran to the door, and opened it. The guards on duty weas astonished to see Kyo open the door, and look out into the hall,"If you see anyone come near here, dont let them in witout informing me." they saluted and he clopased the door again. he looked aorund the room frantically.
