"Heaven?" She laughed. "The closest thing to heaven here my friend is a hallway fashioned to its design, intended to anyway. That and a blade given to me by an angel that's resting on the mantel of my fireplace." She laughed softly again and took a sip from the glass in her hand. "And I never challenged you. Besides, drinking contests are no fun if you can't become drunk and senseless of your actions during them."

Eclipse let both ears drop as he looked to the elf at his words. "Excuse you?" He let out a soft growl before a hand was dropped to his head and fingers stroked his sensitive ears, making them relax back up. He snorted. "Besides... what would I need with a temple..."

She couldn't help but laugh, covering her mouth and trying to cough to cover it up in a way. Aura set her glass on the table then took Nelphean by the wrist and pulled him over to the table, pushing him down into one of the chairs. "Full of questions...well apparently I'm evil because I have an eternal lifespan and can wield magic and have a darkness born wolf. At least that's the general consensus. And this is just a normal physical plane. Nothing more, nothing less. No such...people eating gelatinous cubes...or such things.

Jealous. Not exactly the word. But close. He already had to share her with someone else. "Silver tongues can get you in trouble..." He took a seat on the floor and splayed a wing, taking to preening his feathers once more in a gesture of distraction. "And believe me I can't be killed unless you kill Aurahkah."

Aura shook her head and rolled her eyes slightly. "You're being rude now Eclipse."

She laughed again, taking a seat of her own and nursing her own drink for a moment, emptying the glass before giving answer to his question. "I guess I should thank you for the compliment. Don't mind Eclipse, he's a tad bit over protective of me."

A snort was heard as Eclipse switched wings, licking down ebony feathers in order. "I just protect you from what I feel you need protecting from."

"Well, that's a pick up line if I ever did hear one." She laughed again, one hand reaching out to pat Eclipse on the head, calming the wolf of the various remarks he was making to her via mind link. "Get as comfortable as you like my friend. I don't expect you to leave at all." Aura took hold of her glass, turning it upside down on the table. She smiled to Nelphean, softly laughing again. "You are quite the charmer, I must admit. But my tastes are for men who are more impressive than charming."

She pretended to pout. "Oh only the second. What a shame, I was hoping I was the first. And I never expected you to charm me. And as for being number four hundred and ninety...I don't like being so far down in the ranks dear." Aura leaned back in her chair crossing her arms. " Yes, I am involved with someone, but I see that won't be deterring you unless he's around. Fair warning though, he's a tad possessive and I'm hard to seduce." A soft sweet laugh came form her again as she softly shook her head, latching onto the newly offered questions. "Quite a collection here. Half demons, an angel, animal human hybrids, vampires, a few eternals, those who are shadow born of shadows, a few humans who are either overly zealous or overly timid. We're diverse if you will."

Eclipse listened with one ear rotated to Nelpean's direction. He smirked inwardly. If Nelphean planned on trying anything on Aurahkah, he's had to try really hard. He hadn't spent a few thousands years with the woman without learning her behavior. The wolf laughed into his feathers at his thoughts. Hell Vincent had to practically try to kill her to catch her eye.

She raised an eyebrow at him as she propped an elbow on the table and cradled her chin in her hand. "Well they won't try to eat you...at least one of them won't...the other I'm not too keen on his eating habits exactly. I usually try to keep a supply of blood so they don't have to feed on the surrounding animals, the manor inhabitants, or sadly enough the villagers. Not that I care for the little witch hunters there, but I don't think the vampires need to suffer that whining when they're trying to get a meal." With her free hand she brushed a few lose strands of hair from her eyes and then flicked a piece over her shoulder. "And don't you dare go around trying to slay the vampires here...you'll earn a bad reputation with me."

"Well aren't you a smart one about how to deal with vampires." She smirked and let out a laugh. Aura took on a mock thinking look at his proposed questions, then leaned toward him matching his tone for the sheer fun of mocking him. So doing she grabbed her glass and shoved it towards him. "If you really feel the need to do things for me, you can start by filling my glass." She then laughed and pulled back. "Then scrubbing my windows and walking my dog."

Eclipse snapped his head in Aurahkah's direction letting out a playful mock growl. "I'm no dog, and I can walk myself thank you very much young lady."

"Blah blah. You know what I mean." With another laugh and a sigh she returned her attention to Nelphean. "You are quite the risk taker Nelphean."

"I can already work that department fairly well. I'm made of shadows, it's my forte. Besides, I prefer my teeth and claws coupled with shadow tricks to get any dirty work done. As for her, I question her judgment sometimes as well."


With a laugh and a smile, Aura raised a hand a pressed a fingertip to Nelphean's nose, pushing him back while drawing the other way herself. She then waved that same hand in a gesture of dismissal. "Come now, you think I expect you to wash my windows? Too many of them. As for magical labs...not per say unless you do what others have and set up one of your own in a sense. Closest established thing I have is an infirmary with a few odd things, herb garden, and a library stacked with books crammed with spells."
