She squinted one eye at him, "I am aware of how things were, so how about we just leave it in the past." Her tail twitched as she was now slightly peeved with the way he put it but not really angry, she yawned again. Now totally tired, she forgot about her hunger, waved to the both of them, stumbled out of the kitchen, and down the hall to her room where she put down her weapons and flopped on her bed.

Wandering around, Nelpean manages to procure a horse. And a saddle. ANd rides about the country side. During his journey about, to his liking, he does not come across any boundries.
((In Ravenloft, the Dark Lords have magical boundries that they use to control where and when the locals can travel))
Luck was with Nelphean, becaseu he managed to find a small enclave of Forest Elves, who gladly welcomed him into their company. To Nelphean's shock, and amazment, he was in a Futureistic world. Indeed, over joyed at the prospect of dwelling in a realm that was not in the Grey Lands ((what Nelphean called Ravenloft)) over joyed Nelphean. The elves warned him about a great evil that lurked in the forests ahead of him, Nelphean decided that he should find this great evil, and... decide what to do then.
Nightblade jumped back on his horse, and rode back into the lands where he was freed from his former life. Now what is Nelphean supposed to do...
With his limited divination, Nelphean traced the line of evil back to the manor...
Confused more than ever, the elf wanders into the keep...

The sound of a long dead to the world language being almost inaudibly sang echoed softly off the stone walls of the great hall. Aura sat in her favorite chair, glass of wine on the table beside her, a book beside the glass. In her hand she held a brush which was being pulled gently through the long dark fur of the wolf who sat in front of her, preening his own feathers, much like an actual bird, or a cat giving itself a bath, as Aura tended to his fur.
((Random post of the day. Short one at that. I'm just babbling. I have too much free time. whee ))

The elf trodes the horse through the front gates, the hooves echoing off the empty scene. Nelphean graccefully dismounts, and not seeing a stable, allows the horse to roam. Nelphean enter the build, and cries out. "Hello!" Hopeing beyond hope to meet someone. Being alone for this long was driving the elf insane.

Eclipse's ears perked at the outcry and rotated in the direction of the voice. Giving his wings a soft flap to settle some upturned feathers he stood then also shaking out his fur which the brushing to it had abruptly stopped. He raised a nose to the air and took a sniff at it. "New company it seems. Come on, let's go be all host like." With a click of gold around his ankles the wolf started off in a trot towards the front door to come to stand a respectable six feet from the stranger before him.
"I thought I was the host and you were merely the pet." Aura sat down the brush on top of her book and was standing next to the wolf all too soon, hands clasped in front of her and a smile on her face. "Hello."

Nelphean looked down at the winged wolf, and noticed the looming shadows. Then, upon hearing the greating, he lifted his eyes to meet Aurahkah. "Hello, indeed..." Nelphean slyly responded.
"My name is Nelphean, I am a Nightblade from ... a very far away land." Nelphean walked up to Aurahkah, and took her hand, and kisses the top of her knuckles. "Tis a custome of my lands to greet in this manner." Nelphean winks at Aurahkah. It had been several days since he arrived in this plane, and several more since he... Nelphaean's devilish smile marked the edges of his mouth. "I wish I knew that you were the hostess, I would have brought you a gift..." Nelphean bows, very elaborately to Aurahkah. "I hear of great evil lurking here, and I am a wizard of some skill. I hope I can use my talents in the service of this manor." Rising, Nelphean holds out his hand, and speaks some arcanic words. A flash of light, and a few glowing butterflies fly from his open palm towards the door.

Eclipse cocked his head and then broke out into a laugh. "Great Evil. You hear that? You haven't been piddling in that little excuse for a village outside this forest have you? They're...let's be blunt like Bastet, stupid if you will. Their concept of evil is this girl here, now does she seem evil?"
Aura gave Nelphean a smile, a polite nod then looked to Eclipse for a moment. "Hush you. You know that's how it is, leave it be. And I'm sure Nelphean doesn't care to hear your babble." Speaking of him, she turned her full attention back to him. "I'm Aurahkah. And please, no need for such elaborate formalities. They make for awkward situations at times."

Nelphean smiled widened. "So you are the Great evil that the villagers speak." His look wander about Aurahkah, seeming to be scaning for something...
"I am a servent of evil, or that is what fate has decided for me." His voice, melodic and dreary, seemed a little shakey. "Once the proude retunie of the might Cecil, Paladin of Terton, rebuked to servent boy of a vile mistress. Slain by that mistress, I am here. Now, I guess, you are my leige, for I am nothing more than a lackey." His eyes steady, he looks into Aurahkah's...

"a demonstration of my power, perhaps..." Nelphean laughed. " He bent over, and smelt Eclipse's fur, then walked three feet away from the pair. He chants a couple words, and an identical image of Aurahkah and Eclips stood watching the originals. Absolutly flawless, save the tatooed number on the illusions' heads. The look and smell exactly like Aurahkah, and Eclpise.
"Only illusions, but still, quite an effective tool."

She studied the images before her and then looked away slightly. Dopplegangers of herself or anybody for that matter probably wouldn't ever sit right with her again. Then again she had all the time in the world to work out that issue if she wanted. Taking a moment to stare at the oh so interesting wall she returned her gaze to Nelphean raising her hands as if in defense and shook her head softly. "No, no I'm not to be anyone's liege."
Eclipse was busy studying the copies. Impressed? Of course. happy about it? No. He let his ears drop back as he continued his study, snorted at essentially himself, then returned to stand near Aurahkah. "Interesting power you have there. Where's my manners? I forgotten to introduce myself, I'm Eclipse."

"Indeed good shadow, Eclipse... Appropriate for such a being as yourself." Nelphean looked away from the images, and back towards Aurahkah. "Miss Aurahkah, these are but illusions, hit one, And it will vanish..." Nelphean chuckled. "My magic is mostly designed to prolong my life, and enable me to esacpe. I am also a warrior of some skill, but alas I am not that great." He moved closer to Aurahkah, "Why am I giving you my resume, if you do not wish to hear it as a potiential employer." His eyes danced.
"Come then, let us drink. Some Bael'rog Ale will suite us well." Nelphean laughed. He glanced at the illusions once more, and dispelled them. Walking towards a kitchen he should not know of, he mentions for Aurahkah and Eclipse to follow.

Eclipse licked his muzzle turning a look up to Aurahkah before mentioning some things via mind link then setting off after Nelphean. Barking over his wings to beckon Aurahkah to follow since she was being slow about it.
Aura shook her head and turned, trotting slightly to catch up to the two. "Perhaps you just like others to be well aware of what you can do so as not cause surprising and awkward situations?"

"So, I shouldn't get you drunk, then use enchantments on you to make you think that I am the only worthy man in the world, only to be ditched by me later when a new prospect comes around?" Nelphean looked shocked at Aurahkah, "Oh how did you know my plan?" He paused, "How could you think that I would do such a thing..." He laughed. "I don't use magic to charm people, I naturally do it."
He walked into the kitchen, and quickley uncovered the 'magical elixers'. He looks at the lables, and chants to himself as he quikley mixes several of them together. Upon the creation of his more potient drink, he looks at Aurahkah, and decides she's a wine person. Mostly, because he could not smell anything on her breath. He poors her a glass, and hands it to her.
"Nothing like getting completly drunk after several days of moping." Nelphean laughs. "Eclipse, what would you like? Bael'rog Jr?" He points to the concoction he made. Nelphean looks at the liquid, then castes another spell on it. IT is now bubbling groteskly. "If you live, I will... Build you a temple."

Aura took the glass offered her with a slight blush about her cheeks from his aforementioned statements. "I'd have to warn you anyway. It's hard to get me drunk, I'm Egyptian. I grew up on alcohol, it's almost impossible to get me drunk or for me to get a hangover at that."
Eclipse slunk away from Nelphean slightly, changing his position so that he was not standing beside Aurahkah but behind her with one ear down the other up. "I only take things offered from Aurahkah's hands...when it come to such beverages that is. As far as dying goes. I can not."

"You should have tak'n my bet. You would have won." Glancing at Aurahkah, "You shouldn't challenge me like that, now I have to get you drunk... And I will get drunk... And I am not someone who should get drunk... the Last time I ... Long story short, FIREBALL!" His melodic voice errupts into laughter. "But I am alive.... OR not. Believe it or not, when I got here I thought I was in heaven..." Nelphean decides to hold his tongue on his next thought. No sense making her feel awkward... Yet...
((Carful, he is persistent. ANd has elvish tolerence, probably on par with the most drunken of Egyptians... a lot of strange booze where he is from))
Nelphean takes a drink of his elixer. "Burns if you let it touch your tongue." He looks at Eclipse, "Are you sure you don't want to take me up on my offer, it gives me something to do other than suduce your loving friend."
((OH, he doesn't have any "seducing spells", sticks to illusions... mostly))
