chuckle490 Yeah, you better get some manga. When's the last time that you bought manga before this order? It was March 12th. I still have 8 mangas to read from before, but I don't really feel like reading them right now. Darth_Magnus: I am not in the mob. I work three times a week, live at home, and don't own a car. So I can spend my hard earned money on myself.

awww, but it's such a good joke razz heh, just wait until later, then the manga buying will slow down...actually with the current state of anime and manga, everyone's slowing down..along with cancelled books

I already have several issues of OtakuUSA and honestly it doesn't compare to AI. It's more a mixture than a straight focus. I'd rather have the straight focus.
Honestly it isn't looking too good overall for anime...2 companies stopped distributing in the US, some manga companies have cut back on the # of mangas as well as permentantly cancelling or postponing indefinitely other series. Best Buy's been cutting back on anime with a focus on only the higher selling series. I haven't brought any anime from them in nearly a month!

I read otaku USA at the grocery store the other day while I was waiting for my parents to finish shopping. I didn't like it very much either. The only good thing in it was the Gurren Lagann poster.

Well, I'll just have to make due with whats out there. I don't know why the anime/manga industry would be doing so bad. Tons of people go to anime conventions and look at how many people on here buy anime/manga all the time.

That reminds me of a time when my dad said manga is just a past time, nobody reads manga as a hobby.I then did an interest search on gaia and showed him how many people consider manga there hobby.

Manga collecting is totally my hobby. I also collect yu-gi-oh cards to a point, and regular books. I could also be considered a DVD collector. I collect to many things. crying My side of the room and closet are almost completely filled with DVDs and books. This summer I'm hoping to get another big bookcase. I might even get my own room if my g-ma's leg doesn't get better. Apparently, she has a blood clot in her leg and she can barely walk. She can't even get into bed by herself, so if she stays like that she'll have to go to a nursing home.
