Misty goes to the kitchen to make some tea. As she waits for the water to boil she looks out the window that overlooks the forest. In the middle of one area is an area that is cleared in a perfect circle.
"How odd, there is a hole in the forest that is perfectly cleared." She looks into the village and there is a building missing. "Hey, wasn't there a sheriff's office down there? I wonder if they are building a new one? I don't recall hearing about them going to tear it down."

Scedd goes outback from the inn and looks up at the sky"Why? Why am i so weak. I've done everything i could think of to finish him, but i only wounded him and died doing that!"

Ichigo could feel this pulsating energy in the air. "Maybe they tore it down while we were gone." She said wrapping up a cut on her arm. "And that guest....somethings not right about him...we must be cautious at all times. I'll be right back..." Ichigo slips out the back door, finding Scedd looking up at the night sky.
"Scedd...umm..." She began, her eyes shifting side to side.

Mario locks the door to his room. He takes out some testing equipment and starts testing Genma's blood trying to determine what kind of poison was used on him. "What is it that they used? It is no ordinary poison since ordinary poisons would not work on a demon of his strength. This must be some special blend. It will take some time to come up with an antidote if I have to figure out each component first." confused
On another table he experiments with cloning a small amount of the purple energy. His first experiment fails. "Darn!" sad

Jade slowly makes her way upstairs to her room which is below the scientist's room. She starts to clean up her wounds and takes a shower. Jade lays down to take a short nap to recuperate. She can over hear that he says something about "poison" and "antidote" as she is falling asleep.
When she wakes, she remembers the scientist's words. "Was it a dream or did I really hear that he is helping Genma find an antidote for the poison Misty used?" With all of the excitement of the day and her exhaustion, she could not be sure if it was a dream or not. It would be terrible of she accused him of something she dreamed.

Misty walks to town to thank the alchemist for her help. She bows deeply to the alchemist and tells her about what happened. The alchemist seems concerned that there is a possibility that the demon is still alive. She gives Misty three small bags with instructions on their use.
Misty leaves the shop and walks by where the sheriff's office was. There is a small crowd there talking about how the building just vaporized in an instant. "How strange it seems impossible but true." She walks back to the inn.
She goes to the kitchen and starts preparing dinner.

She stood up straight and took at deep breath. "I'm happy that you're alive again. I'm sorry I couldn't do much of anything. I did the best I could but I thin I failed my missi--" Ichigo stopped suddenly.
Silence filled the air, except for a faint voice hovering over the silence. She slowly walked backwards to the side of the Inn. Listening very carefully, she hears the guest speaking. Trying to make out the words clearly. "I'm sorry but, there's something I must attend to." She bowed to Scedd and walked back into the Inn, to the kitchen to find Misty.

Scedd closes his eyes"I should just kill that guest. Hes the reason i was wounded"Scedd opens his eyes and they're glowing"If i kill him its like im kill Genma...but hes nowhere close to genma's power"His eyes stop glowing and he goes adn leans up against the inn and continues looking at the sky

Misty finishes preparing dinner for their guest. She makes a tray and goes up the stairs to deliver the tray. Misty knocks on his door. "Room service!"

The staff here seems too suspicious but since it is the only inn in miles, he will only sleep here. He had packed up all of his gear.
He opens the door. "Thank you for bringing up my meal."
He takes out a small toy car. "Sorry about getting in the way today. See, look at the power that demon created." The car shoots across the floor and zips around very fast for a very long time. "That was just from a spark of that power. I make toys, cool huh." He shows her his hand held device is empty of purple power. "Well all gone. Too bad you guys killed the demon, he could have powered a whole fleet of cars."
"Here is a tip for all of your trouble." He gives the girl an extra large tip and she leaves.
After she leaves he says, "hope she bought that." twisted

Jade goes downstairs feeling better. She sets the table for the staff so they can have dinner. Misty comes back down and tells her about the scientist and toy maker. They both think he is kind of strange. "I guess maybe he is one of those mad scientists?"

Mario finishes his meal and slips out the back door carrying a silver suitcase. He goes into town and finds an office for rent on the second floor over a store. He goes to the shop owner and rents the office. Mario then goes to set up his equipment from his suitcase. He works into the evening to find an antidote for the demon but can only figure out one of the components of the poison.
"The alchemist that made this poison is really good. Too good."
He also runs tests to clone the purple energy. He gets close but not close enough. "Something is missing."

Scedd notices the guest leaving and follows hom in the shadows. He finds the guest going into a shop"What could he be up to? I have to get a closer look but i got to move silently and swiftly so he doesn't see me"Scedd climbs he shop up to the second floor."What is he doing experiments for or better yet who?"
