The lady looked right back down her nose at the pair, it was a strange time when dwarves and elves actually got along, she could remember a time when the two races would have happily called each other names rather than exchange greetings... The only thing they had in common was their affiliation to the Earth itself. "Well then you are of no use to me at all."
Earth and wind were opposites, and it didn't help that Karasu was not really all that friendly to begin with. The lady turned from the group and looked back up the mountain to contemplate the storm that was defiantly not natural.
((Sorry, I am not blowing you off, I just have no real idea where you want this little meeting to take you sweatdrop ))

((Well I dont want this to end and um I have done my homework on elves and dwarves. You elves and Dwarves always got along it was them and sprites that did not like each other but it is a common misconseption.))

"I am odd... to say the least." twisted Karasu actually thought that was quite amusing, although there was only a hint of a smile on her face as she pointed up the mountain.
"A winter storm has my party trapped in a cave up there, I can get them out, but not without shredding the weather patterns around the entire mountain range...and I do not like the thought of hurting innocents because someone thinks they can stop us with a little bad weather." Icy blue eyes scanned sky, watching clouds drift away.

"A wind barreir?" That got her hackles up slightly, but her voice turned all smooth and light. "You would try and comand a little bit of the element of Air in the middle of a blizzard?"

Across the snow-capped mountains a lone traveler walked. He carried a large sword on his back, and a smaller broadsword at his side. He admired the view as he trudged along, thinking, and just enjoying the nature that surrounded this place. He was a man searching for his place in the world, something that everyone would come to terms with over their lifetime. He had his mission in life, and his driving spirit, but he lacked a niche, a spot to call his own, and without that, a man was only half a man, or so it was said. And so, he'd struck out into the world, saying a quick goodbye to his love and his family, before making his journey.
It was chilly, but nothing so cold that he couldn't take it. He stopped for a moment to admire the scenery and take a breath of the cool, fresh, mountain air.

What the hell was that!?
Ryugi's eyes opened wide and he turned towards the noise, dashing towards it as quickly as he could. And by the sound of it, someone could really use his help.

When he alighted the next ridge, he would see it.
Nestled within the mountain top was a small crater, made centuries ago by a meteor slamming into the mountain, making a natural ledge several hundred feet wide. It was hard to find - the mountain ranges spread for miles. Only a flying machine or a person who flew could find it easily.
Standing on the ledge was a woman, her blonde hair matted and damp from the ice, her green eyes hard. Twin scars looped themselves around her hands as she picked up a rock, the piece of stone easily twice her size and weight - before she held it steady before slamming her fist into it, destroying it in a single, explosive blow, fire reporting from her hand as the rock smouldered to pieces.
Meryl pulled her hair from her face and looked down at the ground once more. The rubble was so thick she could almost wade through it.
She was dressed bizarrely - wearing a simply, tattered tank top and some torn leggings. It looked like she hadn't been washed in a year...

The blonde girl turned her head to look up at Ryugi, her green eyes slightly aimless as her sight bore holes into him. "...Training." She replied, barely audible to him. She spoke in normal tones - he was far away. She turned and began to walk away from him, starting to cross the ledge towards a small cave to the north.

Ryugi, at a loss at how exactly to respond to her statement, decided to follow her for the moment. What harm could it do? Besides, he was a gentleman first and a quester second. His niche could wait, this seemed important...

Silabus Whitelight Pitt and Shin giggled as if some inside joke was occurring. Pitt spoke. "Elven magic will do more than just that plus if we need more we will use it so please just lead the way". " What gives you the right?" Karasu clenched her fists and strained against her anger, the wind suddenly picking up around the party on the cliff. " The wind will not be commanded! Nor will I, Never AGAIN!" scream The elemental struck out at the elves with a hurricane force wind sheer. The dwarves would be lucky if they felt a slight breeze that was how focused the attack was. They had all made a big mistake by ignoring what she had said, if the lot of them had been paying attention they would have known that they faced an ancient elemental force, only masquerading as a physical being... Karasu had introduced herself as The West Wind, and that was exactly what she was only now she was also angry!! Karasu turned and misted away again, she had spent too long away from Hugin and needed to regain her control. ((*fixes your spelling errors while she is at it* sweatdrop sorry))

Back in the cave, Evan quirked an eyebrow as he felt a tingle on the back of his neck. He chuckled to himself, mostly in amusement. He didn't know what had happened exactly, but he somehow knew that Karasu was going to come back in a hissy fit. He felt for the poor guy who actually made Lady Raven angry- she was usually so calm. Well, when she didn't have a look in her eyes that completely and totally creeped him out.
