Okay, first off since the gods knocked Paradise Island from it's original location.. (It's now located a miles of the coast of the North Carolina.) The amazons have been having problems with the US governemnt interfering with their affairs and because of this Diana goes to washington to speak with the president. Medusa is around and is angry at Wonder Woman or more precisely angry at Athena and since Diana's Athena's champion seeks revenge on her. Medusa and Diana fight in an arena and their fight is televised.. ( It's really good fight.. I don't wanna give away to much).. Spoilers in white Diana gets stabed witha sword straight through her side and after Medusa takes off her blind fold Diana takes one of the snakes she had earlier cut off of Medusa's head and thrusts it into her eyes.. the fangs and the poison blind Diana. Diana cuts off Medusa's head but is left badly injured and among other things blind
