De'Gelis looked at Imuyenne. "We won't make it if you carry her," he said bluntly. He thought for a minute. "Get on my back," he said.

James gave De a weird look. Who did he mean, him or Imuyenne.

De'Gelis rolled his eyes and took his wolf form. He adjusted his size so that he could easily fit two people comfortably on his back. "Get on my back," he insisted as he laid down so they could climb onto his back without much trouble.
Imuyenne looked up at James and nodded.

James sighed, he felt so dumb. Today was definatly not his day. Everything had gone wrong, and he had embaressed himself to many times. He looked at Imuyenne
"Front or back." He asked

"Put her in front," De'Gelis instructed before Imuyenne could answer. "She's lighter than you, and I can't have you fouling up my shoulders as we run," he explained.
Imuyenne nodded again. "Front," she answered obviously.

James shrugged and set her down on De'Gelis's back. He swung his leg over and settled his weight evenly. He was not used to doing this. He had magic power of course because he was a demon but he had been trained to restrain that power for emergency use only. Old habits die hard.

"Hold on tight, it is gonna be a bumpy ride," De'Gelis said as he stood.
Imuyenne dug her hands into De's fur and held on tight.
"Ready, Lieutenant?" De called back.

James leaned forward his hands clunching the fur right in front of Imuyenne's legs. They werent touching but it was close. James's face was almost resting on Imuyenne's shoulder. He was attempting to make a sort of cage so he was more of a target.

De didn't wait for an answer. With amazing speed, he turned and ran towards the edge of the roof. There was a fifty foot gap between them and the next building. Picking up speed as he ran, De'Gelis leapt with easy and sailed through the air as he sailed over the edge of the roof.

James clamped his teeth shut so he wouldnt bite his tongue off. He breathed deeply and only looked ahead. He hoped they would be back to safety soon.

Imuyenne couldn't help but laugh as De'Gelis jumped from rooftop to rooftop. She had never been able to feel the wind in her hair while traveling at that speed before.
To De'Gelis, this was child's play. He could make the jumps when he was in normal size.

James glanced at Imuyenne when she laughed. It was a pretty sound. He was so close his cheek was an inch away from hers.

Imuyenne hated it when the landed on the rooftop of Secondary Hiding.
De'Gelis came to a halt in front of the skylight and crouched down. "Last stop," he said professionally.

James sighed and released his hold on De's fur he sat back so Imuyenned could get off without touching him. He slid of De's back and straighten.
"Thanks De'Gelis."

Imuyenne slid off of De'Gelis's back and barely managed to stay on her feet. She was still quite weak. "Yes, thank you, it was fun," she said with a smile.
De laughed slightly and morphed back into his somewhat human form. "Anytime," he told them. He slipped his arms around Imuyenne and picked her up, since it seemed that James wasn't going to make the move to carry her inside.
