Ian bit his lip as he pulled back the control stick. "Well capt'n... what I do to give that away?" He looked over his shoulder as they came up towards atmo, "Yeah... 7th Shadow Regulars, Squad 143. I was a Lieutenant. Before Serenity Valley I was mostly in the wet works. Recon and espionage division. Why do you ask?"

Samantha looked at Neo and said, "What's the difference between that and, 'yea... alright.... sure I'll pay for that?' If that's what you're getting away from, then you're a long ways from enjoyment. Cause that's a boring life to be living. And that goes for your lack of imagenation."

Neo looked at her over his sun glasses.
"Whoes to say I don't find this enjoyable. Livin on the raggady edge, not sure what will happen next or who will shoot you. Life where I live is profitable, safe, and excedingly boring. Out here you don't know when you will next eat, when you'll get shot again, and thats exciting to me. Don't deny a man his entertainment, and he won't deny you your engine parts."
Neo smiled looking down at the engine.
"Plus my not quite respectable habits give my buissness some bad press sometimes, so my advisers all but throw me out here anyway."
He chuckled a bit at his joke and looked back up at Samantha.

Samantha did not get the joke. Aparently that was what it was intended to be. "So our motivations are the same. Well... that's something."
She figured that now would not be a good time to tell him that all of his jokes is old school.

Samantha was starting to get irretated by the subject, "What is the matter with me and not having to smile all the time? I don't see a problem with it."
Samantha started looking around at all the detail things in the room. From the looks of things, it may be that the last person that worked there was a female. Either that or the guy had a thing for flowery images on the walls.
OOC: I realized something. She's not happy. And luckly I realized why. Even though she doesn't know it. 3nodding

Alex loooked at one of the view screens. "So" she said "What are you doing here?" She wanted to know more about her crew, find out who they were.
