Seremela sighed and walked back into the mansion. She immediately went to where she could practice her archery. She took out her bow and readied her arrow. She aimed it at a simple target practice and shot it. It hit a bulls eye and she sighed. When Mel usually would have felt triumph, she only felt sadness. She readied another arrow and shot it. It went straight through her first arrow and hit bulls eye. She did the same thing with the same outcome.

Ace walked into the house and went straight to his room. he looked at his room and suddenly hated himself all over again. He took a lamp off of his dresser and smashed it on the ground. With a roar of anger. He sat on his bed and ran a hand through his hair. Memories of the castle flooded back to his mind and he was confused.
Mad walked through the door and heard the broken glass sound. "Oh, god. Ace." He said to himself. "Maddie, Give me a second talk to Conner here ntil I get back." He said jogging up the stairs and to Aces room. Conner looked at Maddie awkwardly. "Soooo. . . "
Carson heard the people were home and ignored it. He continued to kiss Ches passionately.

MAddie looked at Conner. She was confused. She went upstairs to her room.
Ches smiled and kissed him back.

Seremela sighed and hid her bow, she put her quiver back on. She sat down, looking down. She was crying, but she didn't care. Animals noticed her upset and came over to her. A rabbit hopped up to her and tilted it's head. Mel smiled down at it and patted it's head. She sighed, she began to hum a lullabye that her real mother sang to her when she was just a small child. She stopped everything when she noticed a bear walk up to her. It sat down lazily put a big paw on her lap. She sighed when she realized it didn't wanna harm her. She smiled at all the animals that came to help her.
"You know, all of you are alike somehow. Even if you don't look alike. There's always that little something that connects everything to everyone. And there's always that someone who helps find it. All of you must know what that is and who helped you. Unlike me, of course."
The bear roared softly and she chuckled.
"Yea, if only all of you could help me..."
Mel heard Ace roar out of anger and sighed. She made her hair into a braid and sighed again. She felt worse than ever. The bear nudged her with a paw and looked up at Ace's room. Mel sighed.
"You want me to help him?"
The bear nodded and grunted in response.
"You think that he could help me in return?"
The bear nodded again. Mel sighed and just stayed where she was, trying to at least.

Mad ran up stairs and busted through Ace's door. He narrowly missed being hit be a chair. "God!-Ace! Ace! Come on. Calm down, big guy." Ace sat on his bed. Mad sat next to him when Ace didn't speak. "Talk to Mad about it." Ace sighed and looked at Mad with a sad expression. "I was stupid. I was so stupid to think that anyone could see me or except me. I tried so hard to just talk to her and it worked. It really did, but as soon as I started telling her more. . . I scared her away. I was so close, but I scared her away. I was raised to chase people away and I now see how well I was trained. Even when I don't try, people still keep their distance." He stood up. "I really liked an archer. She was an elf and I thought I could be more open with her knowing her past, but there was a big difference. She never did anything to deserve her rejection." Mad walked over to Ace. "Either did you. You couldn't control it. Those things my mom made you do could leave anyone in your state. Traumatized." Ace slid down a wall remembering all to well. "Your wrong. I should have been stronger. I killed people. Woman, kids, hell- even pets. She is so much better than me. I don't blame her for leaving. I just didn't expect it to hurt so bad." Mad shrugged. "I know how you feel. That's what love does."

Seremela sighed, realizing that what she did left a big hole. She smiled and patted the bears head. She stood up.
"I shouldn't be so fragile, I need to be more tough, right?"
All the animals instantly replied by shaking their heads. The bear then grunted.
"Stay who I am... what if no one likes the Seremela? What if they turn away like they did to younger Seremela? I don't wanna feel that rejection again, it hurt too much. The only person who I met that was really nice to me was..."
Mel was surprised by her own words and her eyes started to get teary.
"Ace..."
Seremela whispered, letting tears fall.
"What have I done? I shouldn't have cared about his past, what happened, happened. I should have just kept looking at the present, shouldn't I?"
Mel sighed and curled up into a ball. The animals surrounded her, trying to protect her. She began to cry freely, which she hasn't done since she ran away. She remembered those awful first nights living in trees and caves, how hard it was to even survive... Mel hated her own past and wished it never happened. Shge wished she wasn't an elf and wished that she never got mad at Ace.

Ace sighed getting up. "I have to go find her." He walked out the door. Mad followed keeping up with Aces long strides. "What is this girls name?" Ace jogged down the stairs. "Mel." Mad stop following and let Ace walk off. "That kid runs off of nothing, but instinct.
Ace walked up behind Mel. He touched her shoulder gently. "Mel? . . ." He said softly. Hoping not to scare her.
Mad walked up to Maddie's and knocked on the door. "Hey beautiful. Can I come in?"

The bear growled as Ace approached Mel. Seremela looked up at Ace, her eyes still red from crying and some tears were falling down her cheeks. She looked at the bear and shook her head. The bear then grunted and just sat there, looking at Ace with a look that clearly said, "You hurt her, I hurt you."
"Y-yes? What d-did you w-want, Ace?"
Mel sniffled and instantly, more animals came over to her, wanting to comfort her.

Ace sighed looking into her eyes. His hand shook as he lifted it from her shoulder. He felt horrible all over. "I came to find you. I didn't think that we parted on the right terms. . . Because I never got a chance to apologize. " he took a breath and let it out shaky. "Im really sorry, Mel. I wish I could change who I am, but I can't. I'm a Knight for The Queen Of Red. You might have heard of her. She is the brutal ruler of the vampire kingdom. I was twelve the first time I killed someone. I was fourteen when I was in my first war. My oldest memory is me at eleven years old locked in a dark room scared out of my mind. I never was happy with anyone until I moved here. I didn't know friends were even real. I didn't like interaction and Mad let me protect him. He's my best friend." he looked at the ground and sighed. "I liked being able to scare that guy because I don't like getting close to people and I like people to keep their distance. I'm apologizing to you because you got hurt because of my suckish social skills."

Seremela smiled and repeated the words her "friends" once said.
"No one can change who they are in the present, but they can change who they're going to be in the future. And they can only do it with some help and if they're willing to."
With that said, Mel hugged Ace and the animals all looked at one another, then left. Including the bear, but the bear still stopped right when the forest started.

Okami laid back in he his seat relaxed until that came up to the pathway to the Masion. He then reached over and took the keys out of the ignition"weeeell the car is working at great performance and engine seems to be runing at full turbine speed"he said while the car autobreaks kicks in and they stop two inches infront of mad's car"hm but I think ill drive or not you might have all most wicked your new car, by the way mama do drive fast"he then leaned over and kissed her. He then looked in the back seat and saw the pets safe but a little scared"but abe when I'm in the car hit the throttle and the Noz but with the pet go normal cause I think you just scared them a little"he said as he laught and stepped out the car. And saw page looking at okami like he was a stranger"hey lady you got a problemzlhe said while he walked over to the over saide of the car and open the door for her as he held his hand out to help her out" I think they dont recognize in our wolf form"he said with an evil griin"let's have some fun with there heads"

Page smiled at him. "Don't be silly, boy. It's not hard to sniff out road kill and my granddaughter." She ruffled okamis hair. "Gran be nice to him." Page laughed as did Alice. "It's funny because It's never gonna happen." Mad heard the car drive up. "That is not my car. Come on Maddie let's check it out." he ran down the stairs and outside. "Oh. Well look at this. Holy Hell. It's you two and you brought a very nice car." Mad saw the pets scared and smiled. "Okami, did Alice ever tell you that No one here will let her drive. One, because she doesn't have a licence. Two, because she has totaled three of my cars, two of hers, and four of Ace's." Page crossed her arms and looked at Alice.
Ace looked at the bear. "Who is your friend." He said still holding her. He honestly didn't want to let her go and she relaxed him, but he did. He kissed her cheek and looked back at the bear, like he didn't just do that.

Okami let out a big laught"hm I don't car about that old thing I built it hm n I guess since Alice here has no car she can keep this one and ill just drive around some cars my dad made or just make a new one"he tossed Alice the keys"hm and by the way I don't have a license either besides this is hard to wick I tryed it myself"he said as he let the pets out to play"hm but can you build a car like this mad or are you. Just ganna pay some one to do it"he alguhted as he looked at page"hm if you wish to keep you hand don't do that again, but I have teached Alice to master her wolf form as you can she my lesson have given her a new wolf form"he held Alice hand as he was pound of her fast learning skills.
