((I'll stay out of the roll as well. The Ho-Oh looks awesome, though. xD))
Brayden stood by with Ariadne as it sunk into the group that things actually looked like they were completed, things would be back to normal. He even dared to believe that his hometown would be back to usual.
Ho-Oh's appearance was definitely one to remember. Brayden couldn't help but admire the play of light along the guardian's incandescent wings. The bird seemed to be seeking something, looking at each of them in the eyes. Brayden stepped back from the group, figuring that he needed to sit down for a bit. And maybe sleep for a week, but that would come after the group made their way back to civilization.
It was a bit overwhelming, as Brayden took a seat on one of the rocks on the peak. He let out a shaky breath he wasn't aware of holding, and leaned back a bit, closing his eyes.
A bright flash of light from his waist had the water trainer looking back down again, however. He was quite pleasantly surprised to find two things. One was Reva. The small Horsea bounded up into his lap, but, a moment later, Brayden had to set the seahorse down as she more than tripled in size, the light of evolution enveloping her. Once faded, Reva was a full-grown Kingdra. Brayden couldn't help but laugh.
The second surprise came as well, as Brayden looked down to see Gin blinking back up at him. The Ninetales looked a bit weak, still a bit shaken up from the battle with Lorelai, but he was okay! Brayden immediately tackled the selfish fox in a hug, which the Ninetales tolerated with a faint smile. He was already dirty enough as it were, so he could endure a few seconds of contact from his trainer.
'Looks like we did it,' Ariadne commented with a faint smile, one that Brayden easily echoed with one of his own.
"Looks like we did," he nodded in agreement, breaking the hug with Gin'iro to sit back on the rocks. watching the others.
'You might wanna check on Kaya, though,' Ariadne brought up a bit hesitantly. She had sensed the other human's collapse, but figured she'd allow Brayden a few moments.
He sought out Kaya among the group, hoping to catch a few words with the former prince while things were calmed down. After all, he still wanted to know how much exactly Kaya had remembered of his life before being a trainer. A few of the things he had said during their little adventure had raised quite a few questions with Bray.
But, Brayden spotted Kaya's Pokemon fairly easily enough, along with the newly-evolved Aoi, but he didn't see Kaya standing among them. In fact, it took him a moment to see the form in the white coat that lay prostrate on the rocks of the volcano's peak.
Panicking slightly, Brayden slid from the rocks, rushing over to Kaya. He knelt at his side, scanning him over for any injuries. The first thought that came to him was perhaps he had been injured somehow while the beast was attacking wildly. But Brayden saw no blood, and after a few moments, he heard the quiet groan from Kaya.
"Kaya?" he asked, brushing a hand along the other's back. He was still a bit hesitant. He had seen the struggle Kaya had with his alter-ego, so he was a bit unsure on just who exactly it was he was speaking to at the moment. But he refused to call out the other's name, internally insisting that Kaya was strong enough to beat Gormach.
Plus, Gormach was a bit of a p***k, and Brayden wouldn't give him the satisfaction of being worried about him.

Aoi stood by Kaya and Brayden, watching the two for a moment before speaking up. "We detect no abnormalities within his mind, Master Brayden. This is, indeed, Master Kaya." the Metagross informed, stepping back to block the two from view of the others.
Rem used his mental powers to supress Kaya's fatigue, allowing the Prince a moment of peace to awaken. "He'll be fine. The Gift of Shaymin can be a heavy burden for a while but it only causes him to pass out if the changes are monumental. It's actually a failsafe that keeps the damage from harming him." the Jirachi informed Brayden as he floated to the far side of Aoibhinn, giving the two their privacy.
Kaya shifted uncomfortably for a moment, mumbling something incoherent as his eyes opened. He seemed to be struggling to move for a bit until his hand found it's way out from under him , holding a rather annoying stone. "...Mnnnnn.....Rock hurts....." he offered a faint smile as his eyes began to refocus. "Did we win?" he asked as he glanced around. Things seemed normal. Except for the pile of ash on his clothing, which was quickly collected once he noticed the odd sparkle. It had to be unusual in some way.

Brayden offered Aoi a thankful look at the mention that Kaya was the only one inside his mind at the moment. He nodded with a smile to the Metagross, "Thanks," he offered simply. It was clear that helped alleviate more than a few of Brayden's fears.
He hoped that the monumental changes that Rem had mentioned were good changes. Hopefully things were returning back to normal around the world. But that meant that Kaya wasn't injured, it was his ability that had caused him to pass out, which was still bad, but at least he wasn't seriously hurt.
Brayden knew he himself was a mess, but he couldn't help but smile and rest his forehead against Kaya's shoulder as he sat up. And Brayden laughed, shaking as he tried to stiffle it, to a well-fought but useless effort. He was dead tired, more than a little sore, still a bit chilly from his earlier battle, and weak as hell. Not to mention he had quite the collection of dirt, dust, and now ash, some of which he selflessly shared with Kaya during the brief contact they shared.
"You've gotta quit scaring me like that," Brayden muttered, still unable to hold back the smile as he looked Kaya in the eyes.
"And yes, we won. Everyone fought together perfectly. Hopefully that sword won't be causing any more problems. Its already messed up too many things."
Brayden sat back, resting on his heels, "I think its finally over," it was a huge relief. Both to know that things had worked out in the end, as well as Brayden had at least played a part in rectifying his mistakes in Stark Mountain. It would help him feel a bit better about the incident, he realized. Knowing that, in the end, they had won. With the help of their new friends, of course.
It was then that Brayden noticed the stone Kaya held in his hand.
"What's that?" he asked instinctively, curiosity getting the better of him as he leaned in to get a look at the rock Kaya was grasping.

Kaya's body was exhausted. It seemed like he'd been in a wrestling match for days on end. Seeing his Pokemon around them, the man smiled meekly. "I guess it is over, huh?" he offered as he carefully maneuvered an arm around his husband's waist.
"I hope things go back to normal now..." he commented, looking up at the sky, as if it would give him the answers. It didn't seem to be the case as the only thing he saw was an increasingly smaller shadow falling on him. At least the falling Empoleon didn't land on him and Brayden. The Steel Penguin, thankfully, didn't seem eager to fight, either. It simply stood there and regarded the group before looking to Kaya and bowing to him.
"Ugh...I should've known. Normal doesn't exist around us, does it?" his laughter was genuine, though it seemed to tire him out as he quickly came to a halt.
Regarding the stone in his hand, the prince chuckled softly. "Obsidian, I think. Not very comfortable to lie on." he admitted as he held it up to look at it. It was a rather long piece, seemingly shaped similar to a Moon Stone. It didn't give off that air of benevolence that a Moon Stone would've, though.
".......I think I know what we can do with this......." he left the thought hanging for the moment.

(rolling... ugh how depressing... a 20) Aku's jaw dropped in awe as Ho-oh appeared before them. "Pinch me.. I must be dreaming.." Aku said softly. Larvitar whom was nearby looked up at Aku and waddled up. Instead of pinching the tiny pokemon bit Aku and Aku cried out. "Ow! Okay okay it's not a dream.. but ow.. Larvitar that hurt." Aku said to his pokemon while petting it softly. Nona, having been distracted by the strangely-colored Ho-Oh, finally snapped out of her slight trance. She then looked to see where her old friends where, leaving the area with the new trainers, and saw Kaya on the ground. "Oh my god, Kaya!" she squealed, running towards him with Bijou hanging onto her back.
She lowered her hood, as she knelt down next to Brayden. Her ears, exposed for the first time since she had teleported there, may have been a slight scare to the new trainers...but they wiggled in worry and in happiness both at the same time.
She sniffled a little, wiping a tear again from her eyes as she removed Bijou from her back and held her close. "Are you alright?!" she reacted, irrationally, and seeing him talking okay...obviously he must've been.
"...I've missed you guys...I really have," she sighed, smiling at the two lovebirds and Chloe. "...I can't believe it's finally over though...I got involved in this right after I began my pokemon journey...and now it's all over..."
Sniffing again, she smirked. "...On a lighter note, my two lovebirds...how's the little bundle of joy?"

((*eyes wide* Did...did that just happen? Did I just win the roll? Is Ho-Oh mine?))
Emiri could only marvel at the sight before her. She couldn't move let alone make coherent sentences, so she remained silent in awe. Gyarados subsided around her, still keeping a close eye however. Emiri watched the silouhette of the Ho-Oh in the light around them, the different colors of its magnificent feathers making the mood all the more lightened since they had defeated the spirit of the blade. She stood in her place for some time as she studied the Ho-Oh carefully, when the pokeballs around her waist began to shake and glow. All except Dialga, still weak from battle, emerged from their pokeball, some new faces to be seen. Azuran took his place next to Emiri, guarding her in his shadow as Charmeleon stood tall by her side, showing new found strength. Looking to the ground however, Emiri spotted a small disc, a TM of all things. Looking it over, it was hot to the touch, and had an orange tint to it, number thirty-eight, fire blast. Looking to Charmeleon, Emiri taught her the TM, knowing that move would be a value, as her tail flared with the new found energy.
Two other pokemon had emerged from the pokeballs at her waist, but they weren't what Emiri was expecting. From Bulbasaur's pokeball, an Ivysaur once again emerged. Emiri managed to take her sights from Ho-Oh, looking down to Ivysaur who gave her the same smile as always.
"Oh Ivysaur! You're back," Emiri cried, going to the ground to hug him around the neck.
"I feel better," he said happily, the petals from his bulb pluming out again.
"You look splendid Ivysaur. Stronger than ever," Emiri said, standing back up. She counted her pokemon, looking around at her team, noticing someone was missing. She couldn't find Rhyhorn, but instead, a very large, very different Rhydon in his place. Towering over her and her pokemon, almost as tall as Azuran was, was a soft tan colored Rhyhorn, tail whiping as his polished horn gleamed in the setting sun. Emiri admired him as she ran up to him, hugging him though it was a difficult thing to attempt. Rhydon hugged Emiri back now that he was standing up right and looked himself over a bit.
"Oh Rhydon, you're magnificent," Emiri praised as she looked up to him, proud of all of her pokemon.
"Thank you. I feel like it. This is going to take some getting used to," he said, looking back to his tail, now that he had something to wag. Emiri looked to all of her pokemon. Though they were happy to be together, they were all tired and exhausted from the battle that had been going on all day. Having to fight Lance twice, and the blade spirit, they all needed a good rest.
"I'm so proud, of all of you. We've all grown so much and worked really hard. When we get back to a pokemon center, we'll all get a good rest, and then take a break for a few days," Emiri told her team. They all obliged, happy at this offer, returning to their corresponding pokeballs. Emiri had just about forgotten where she was before turning to see Ho-Oh again, falling silent once more at the magestic legendary phoenix.

First came out Ariados, it stretched it's new found legs and tackled Alex down due to it's size and weight it could no longer get on top of his trainer, the came Altaria, Alex's first dragon type pokemon, he glanced on his new pokemon's majestic view, but it was nothing compared to Ho-Oh. Slakoh also got a small boost as it evolved into Vigoroth, it stood there jumping around as the ashes of the volcano rained down on him while it jumped around. " I guess, it wasn't for nothing after all. " He said as he walked over to Emiri and her new Ho-Oh. " Yo, Emiri, congratulations on your new pokemon." He said as he smiled and walked beside her as he began to bask under the glory of Ho-Oh. " It is such an awesome sight to see." The added as he continued to look at the shiny Ho-Oh.

When the shiney Ho-Oh had landed atop the summit before Emiri and her friends, she could tell that he was looking for something. She was watching his gaze as he closely surveyed each trainer atop the mountain, but she couldn't tell why. The evaluation had to have been completed while Emiri was occuypyed with her pokemon, because when Alex came up to her, she almost didn't know what he was talking about.
"What are you talking about my new pokemon? It was just Rhydon and Ivysaur," Emiri said confused, but then followed Alex's stare. She looked back to Ho-Oh, and for some reason, his gaze was upon her, and didn't move to another.
Emiri stepped forward slightly, locking eyes with Ho-Oh, but stopped when he started moving towards her, or more like froze. Emiri watched as he approached her, a curious look in his eyes. Almost without thinking about it, Emiri held her hand out to the phoenix, and was wide eyed when he nuzzled her hand, standing back up with a nod of approval. Emiri couldn't believe it, Ho-Oh had chosen her. The curiosity in his eyes only grew as he stood before Emiri, waiting for something.
Absentmindedly, her eyes not leaving Ho-Oh's, Emiri held out an empty pokeball, Ho-Oh cocking his head at this, that was what he was waiting for. Emiri held it in her hand as Ho-Oh leaned down to it, nudging it with his beak, before dissapearing inside, the pokeball falling dormant, Ho-Oh having contented himself inside.
Emiri was even more speechless now than when Ho-Oh had made his first appearance, standing there wide eyed as she stared down at the pokeball in her hands, unmoving on the outside, but soaring sky high on the inside.

Brayden watched with a smile as Ho-Oh settled in front of Emiri, apparently making his decision. Judging from her disposition, she was still in a bit of shock at the whole situation, which was understandable. Not every day you have the guardian of the skies opting to travel with you. She had fought well, though, as had all the others. So Brayden only felt pride for her, nodding. He'd have to congratulate her later on.
"Obsidian, huh," Bradeyn mused, looking over the stone in Kaya's hand. He looked up as Nona approached, grinning and offereing a wave.
"Welcome back! I'm glad you could help us out with this," Bray admitted, "We definitely missed you. But it is a weird feeling. I mean, we've been having this battle looming over us for quite a long time. It feels kind of surreal to have it actually over and done with." He was glad that things were settling down, though. For one, it meant that he could take a break.
He settled back, offering a smile as he settled a hand over the one Kaya had rested around his waist.
"Deryn's fine. We left him with... uh... friends... in Floaroma," he corrected himself at the last minute, still unsure on whether he had to or not. Which brought up the question again.
Brayden spoke up, losing any skill in tact for the moment as the thought bubbled back up to the surface. He tackled it before it had the chance to escape again.
"Exactly how much do you remember?" he looked to Kaya expectantly.

Kaya listened in on Brayden and Nona's conversation. It was kind of strange to him, seeing the way things were suddenly so calm. Hadn't they been fighting for the fate of humanity just moments before? Or had it all been some crazy dream from his collapse?
No, it couldn't have been. How else would Nona and Brayden know about it unless it had been real? And the feel of his love's contact was enough to assure him of the reality.
He was curious to see who Ho-Oh was watching so closely for and looked in that direction. He watched the Phoenix choose Emiri and smiled for her good fortune. At the moment, anything was better than facing up to the truth. He'd been lying to his friends and family for months now. It was time to confess but it was a much easier thought than action.
Brayden's words cut him deep as he looked up, his eyes somber and mourning. "It's alright Bray. I never forgot anything." he whispered softly. "Deryn's at home in Floaroma with my niece and nephews, Nona." he offered to their friend as he struggled against his stiff body to sit upright. "....I'm getting too old for this...."

Aku made his way to the others after the Ho-oh added itself to Emiri's party. He was happy for her, but he was happier that everything was finally settled. "I suppose we should start on our gym badges.. huh?" Aku said to Emiri as he walked up behind her. "They shouldn't give us too much trouble now should they?" Aku asked with a smile. "I know...I mean..." She looked at the ground, her eyes growing distant for a moment. "This whole situation...it interupted my first Gym battle. I started off with three pokemon to my name...And now, this is all over, I have twenty-one badges, four boxes full of pokemon AND I've saved the world with my friends."
She looked back to the sky, smirking a little. "It's nice...I mean, we did something worthwhile, aside from just journeying in a group, destroying one of your party-members bike's, getting badges and being boring trainers...But...It's nice to finally have a break from it all."
Looking back to Brayden, she continued, "...I think I may go to Sinnoh after this. My brother went out there, and he seems to be doing well enough...maybe I can get a full set of badges there. After this, though...I'm not sure if anything will seem as difficult."
Then she realised that there would be an awkward situation. Kaya keeping a secret from Brayden. "Uh...I'll leave you two alone for this..." she said, awkwardly, as she got up. "I don't want to be a third wheel on this conversation...It's wonderful to see you both again, and give love to the little tyke for me!"
Noticing the Ho-Oh gone, she went to the rest of the trainers, meaning Chloe and the three new additions to the group. "Well, hello there!" she exclaimed, letting Bijou cling to her back again. "It's wonderful to see you again, Chloe! ...And these three are...new additions?" She looked each of them over, and smiled, extending a hand while her ears twitched with delight. "I'm Nona Anthropes, Poison/Ghost specialist from the NidoRanch, on the outskirts of Viridian City. I must say...you three, I can tell you are all new to the Training scene...but let me tell you, I am impressed. You guys are...well, you guys are more gutsy than I was when I was at the level you are now. When we first dealt with Lance, I was freaking out...and yet, you seem so calm about it."
She chuckled, smiling. "In other words...Awesome Job!"
Without Nona realizing it, Nevermore began thinking to herself that she needed a vacation. So, using her psychic abilities, she teleported her own ball out from Nona's bag, and replaced it with Rhapsody's.
