Kaya blushed a bit at Nona's remarks, quickly finishing his food to distract himself. "Thanks guys. It's good to know our friends are so willing to help us. I'm pretty sure the kids will be happy to watch him, though." he replied to the two women as he pushed his now empty plate away. He called over the waiter and ordered something that would be easy for Deryn to eat before speaking again.
"I told you I knew this place well." the man remarked, grinning slightly.
"You lot are all welcome to a guided tour the next time we're all in Floaroma town." he replied to Chloe's request, grinning wider.
Khite nodded to Nona and offered a small smile. "Alright. I understand." he replied softly. "I suppose I'll go back to traveling with Rizen for a while, then." he told her as he pulled a piece of paper and a pencil from his bag and wrote something down. "Here's my PokeGear number. Call me if you ever want to talk or anything, ok." he told her as he got up and stretched. "I'd better go if I'm going to catch Rizen anytime soon... So long." he called as he walked towards the front and paid for what little food he'd ordered.

"Sounds like a plan," Chloe nodded with a smile. She certainly was interested in seeing Kaya and Brayden's new place, but first came their assorted side-trips and honeymoons.
Most of Chloe's Pokemon had finished eating by this time, and were taking the opportunity to relax a bit. Chloe was glad for this, especially since things were bound to get more dangerous later on. But it was lovely to simply sit and enjoy the weather for a change. Even if there was still a bit of snow and ice here and there from the Dragonair and their last attack.
Chloe finished up her meal eventually, and settled back to enjoy her iced tea as the group conversed.
"So I guess I'll head to Blackthorn for a bit. To train, and maybe catch a Gligar. Its been too long since I've been home last," Chloe reasoned, "So if you need to reach me, that's where I'll be I think. I might gather up the drive to see about taking on Pryce and Clair," she laughed, "Not 100% sure about that just yet, though."

Nona watched as they took away her plates as well, looking to Isamu. "While I would love to check out your house, I think I'll have to raincheck for now. I want to help Isamu with his badges, and such, so we'll be leaving for Slateport and doing a tour of Hoenn. Heck, I may even get to complete a full set of badges while I'm there..." She chuckled a little bit, picking up Bijou and putting her on her lap.
"If you're still up for it, of course, Isamu. I would love to help you through your other badges, as long as you let me stop for a bit so I can catch a Gulpin in Slateport." She smiled sweetly again, stroking the top of Bijou's head.
Bijou growled a bit, but let her do so. Bio, on the other hand, was still watching her vigilantly, almost possessively, as to make sure nothing came to attack her. She was like his mother, after all.

Isamu looked to Kaya. "Yeah, I'd love to see it, that is, if it is as great as you guys make it out to be. But it will have to be later." he said, nodding. He then turned to Nona. "A Gulpin huh? yeah, it might be interesting to catch one." he said thinking for a moment. "Ok, then." he smiled and pet Vulpix, who seemed to purr with delight. He then turned to Grovyle. "So, how about it? Ready to take on some Gyms?" Grovyle looked at him for a moment then nodded. She was happy to battle for her trainer. Isamu then turned to the rest of his pokemon. "Watch out for Slateport," Brayden warned in half-jest to Nona, "Once you enter there, its almost as if you can't leave!"
As the waiter collected the dishes, Brayden dug around in his bag for his wallet, as the rest of his Pokemon finished up their meals as well. It seemed they had all enjoyed their meal as well. Brayden remembered to scoop up some of the Pokemon food for Luc later on.
"I wish you the best of luck with the gyms, Isamu," Brayden offered genuinely with a smile as he heard the other boy's plans, "I'm sure you'll do great. You've already got a really well-balanced team, and I've already seen what you can do against Lance's Pokemon, so I'm quite confident you'll do fine with your gym battles," he grinned.
It seemed that everyone had finished, so Brayden rose from his chair, tucking it back under the table as he stretched, "I agree with Chloe, Kaya. You definitely had a great suggestion with this place. I'm going to have a hard time not napping on the ferry back to mainland," the water trainer laughed. Although he figured some rest would probably not be such a bad thing.

Nona chuckled little at Brayden's remark. "Oh, Pshhh. The longest it will take me is however long it takes me to find and catch a Gulpin." She turned to Isamu, and smiled. "You haven't known me for long, so I'll let you know now..I'm trying to catch every Ghost type pokemon, and every Poison type pokemon, there is. The only ones I'm missing for Ghost are a Gengar...but I have a Haunter, so I'm good...and the mother of all Ghosts, Girantina. But that's just a dream." She smiled, chucking to herself. "As for Poison types, I'm much further behind."
"As am I, Brayden. Even if he has trouble, he has me to back him up." She smiled sweetly towards Isamu, smiling sweetly. "I mean, I'm no master...but I know my way around a pokemon battle. Besides..." she chuckled looking to her scattered team, "I'll be going to the high gyms as well. You can see Gym Battles for observing knowledge, while you're doing yours." She continued to stroke Bijou's head, who began pawing at her hands, trying to get her to stop. "It never hurts to see other battles."
Nona nodded, finishing off her tea and digging through her messanger bag. "That was amazing, Kaya...When I'm in the area, I'm coming back her. No doubt in my mind." She took out her black wallet, with a Teddiursa in a top hat embroydered on it, and pulled out the price of her meal. "I think the pokemon enjoyed it too."

Kaya watched his Pokemon finish off their meals, smiling at the developing relationship between Mian and Tin. It seemed everyone had thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Pulling out a small metal case, a strange looking Pokemon engraved on it's front, he opened it and withdrew the money for his meal. He put away the Zorua case and paid for his meal before slowly standing up, holding Deryn close.
"Well, I believe it's time we got moving. If we don't get going soon, I'm afraid Lance and his cronies may get moving again before we have a chance to prepare for it." he voiced, stretching as best he could with the child in his arms.
Looking to Isamu, he nodded along with the others. "I agree Isamu. I don't think you'll have any trouble at all. You've already proven yourself quite the talented trainer. All you need is the confidence to try and the chance to give it a go." he encouraged the boy.
"And Chloe, Pryce and Claire aren't as tough as they are intimidating. I beat them both with only a half trained team and your Pokemon are way stronger than any of mine." he told the girl, hoping to encourage her as well. He figured she was intimidated by Claire more because she looked up to the Dragon master and by Pryce because of the Ice master's choice of type.

Chloe nodded, "Thanks," she told Kaya with a grin. She meant it clearly. Chloe rose from the table once she had finished up the rest of her meal, making a quick inventory of her party to make sure everyone was accounted for. Once she had recalled everyone, and made sure she paid for her meal, Chloe offered the rest of the group a wave.
"I'm gonna go see if I can catch a ferry to Olivine, then make my way to Blackthorn that way," she explained, "I'll catch up with you guys later on. Good luck to all of you!" she grinned, "And I wish you luck in everything you're setting out to do."
With that, Chloe exited the restaurant, making sure to note the name. She'd have to remember to come back here again sometime.
The dragon trainer-to be set out to re-discover the docks. Upon arrival to the island, she had forgotten to make note of where they were due to the rush, but she doubted it would be too hard to find them. After all, just head to the ocean, right?
So that's what Chloe did. And sure enough, she found her way to the docks soon enough, even if she had run into a few wrong turns along the way.
After a bit of searching, she found a small cargo ship that was headed towards Johto. After fare was negotiated, Chloe found herself on deck, as the ship headed towards the region she hailed from.

It was pretty much tradition to have her out while he was traveling, and she enjoyed the outdoors, so he figured he might as well keep with habit.
"I think that's the right idea," Brayden spoke up to Kaya's statement about getting the show on the road, "The last thing we need is for Lance to get his act together before we get ours together and prepare. I'm hoping to improve a bit while we're out, even if this trip is mostly for fun," he admitted. While he enjoyed breaks, and certainly loved to spend time with his new husband, Brayden knew that he couldn't really afford to spend the whole time relaxing. He honestly didn't think he could do that, with the looming realization that Lance now held the completed blade in his hands.
He didn't know when the dragon master would make his move, but he could prepare the best he could for that moment.
"Want to head out as well?" Bray asked Kaya, "We can probably catch a boat to somewhere in Sinnoh from here. We could probably stop by home real fast to see about getting Deryn someone to look after him while we're away, then head on to wherever?" he suggested.

Kaya waved Chloe off as the girl left. "Good luck!" he called, hoping she'd heard him.
The man nodded to his husband, smiling softly. "I agree completely, obviously." he replied simply. "We should be able to get a ferry to Canalave from the port. That would be the closest town to Floaroma. And then we can travel back to Snowpint to make our way to the Resort Area." he suggested, plotting out the quickest route he could think up without a map.
As he recalled all his Pokemon, he jumped a bit when he felt an unknown presence. "Where's Weiser?" he asked as he found the Pokemon's ball missing. He couldn't see it happen, but a blue and white blur of pixels erupted from his Poketch and a mechanical, static-y voice ensued.
"New host obtained! Operating System: Silphax '95. Connection name: SOL. System Efficiency: 30%. Bit Rate: N/A. Error! Goodbye!" The voice faded, as did the pixelated energy flashes.
"Um....I'm guessing that was the thing that made Weiser go back to my PC?" the man asked as he held up his wrist, as if he could actually see what the problem was. Either way, he took Brayden's hand and held Deryn comfortably in his other arm as he began walking towards the docks, his uncanny senses leading the way.

Brayden nodded, following along with Kaya. He was a bit startled to find a Porygon leap from his partner's Pokegear, but it wasn't any less weird than the similarly-hued one he had discovered in that old broken cell phone. And Bray had his share of randomly-appearing Pokemon as well. He still couldn't tell anyone where it was that he had come across the yellow Magikarp he had in his party at the moment.
As Kaya made his way to the docks Brayden was quite impressed with his sense of direction. And perhaps his other senses as well. But Brayden had learned long ago that it was just best to simply trust Kaya, and so when they found the docks, Brayden was only mildly surprised.
Figuring that he could help out a bit as well, Brayden took up the task of finding a ferry to Canalave. And he did just that, after a bit of asking around. He discovered a ferry that was just about set to set sail, headed towards the port town in Sinnoh. After getting fare for a couple of seats on the ferry, Brayden handed a ticket to Kaya, and boarded.

Kaya waited patiently while Brayden was looking for a ride, holding Deryn close as the young child slept . He couldn't help but wonder where the Porygon in his Poketch had come from, but then he realized it was probably one of those things he didn't want to know. After all, several of his Pokemon had come from nowhere, it seemed.
Taking his ticket from Brayden, upon his return, he followed the younger man aboard the ship and took a seat beside him. "Thanks, love." He gave the man a soft kiss, snuggling Deryn between them where no one could dispute their family.

Brayden sat down beside Kaya and Deryn, resting a hand on his partner's shoulder gently as the ferry took off from the docks. Caliga settled under the bench, opting for a quick nap as they traveled, the Umbreon curling up contentedly beneath the seats. Brayden watched the water for the most part, enjoying the weather, and the small chance at a rest before things would pick up pace once again.
