Zai lowered the knife, putting it in her pocket and walked over to him. "Go sober long as needed, ya will be ok. In the mean time, there are some injections I could give ya to help with the nerves."

Julian's hands were trembling. "Alright... I can do that." He said, his voice wavering. He walked by Zai to leave. He attempted to pick her pocket, but his hands wouldn't go as smoothly as normal. He slipped up, but he didn't care. He grabbed her knife and slit his finger. He watched the blood come out and he fell unconsious. He just wanted to make the time go by quicker.

Zai looked down at him. "Looks like my plan went alright, yeah." She poked him, seeing he was out cold. "Alright..." She managed to pick him up and put him over his shoulder, then turned to the other person who had been watching. "Sorry 'bout that, we'll finish talking another day." With that, she carried him down the hall to the finished rooms, and took him into a nice room with a bed, desk and window that served now as his bedroom. Putting him down, she walked out of the room, preparing a few needles, then went back and sat down in a chair next to him.

A few minutes later, Julian stirred and woke up. He smiled. "I don't think I need it as bad anymore." He said.

She reached up her sleeve and pulled out her knife, looking at it for a moment, then at him. "Well, you don't need sharp objects either, now do ya?"

"Me living here. Not having huge problems like this. Being able to go to restaurants and know anything they have instead of only whats in the pictures." Julian listed.

Zai pulled off two notebooks from his desk and two pens, giving him one. "Want me to teach ya now?"

Zai wrote down the first few letters, and showed them to him. "Alright, here is a, b, c, and d. The sounds they make are similar to how they sound. d-a da, b-a ba, c-a ca, a-d ad. Now, ya copy these letters down five times each onto your paper in different sections, k?"

Julian tried to do so but his hand slipped. He frowned. He switched to his left hand and tried again. He ended up with a sloppy copy of what Zai had written. He did it four more times. It looked like the work of someone in kindergarten, but it was there none the less.
