KAte was holding her nose all the way down the stairs. Then she accidentally got a whif of what was down there. Nothing. It smelled compleatly normal. "Umm... Where's the dead body smell?" She asked, looking at the small empty room. "Where's the computers? and everything else?"

Merridy started looking at the walls, pushing against places, poking at nails that held the wood boards of the walls together.
"Either there is a secret door down here somewhere, this is a completely normal basement, the basement of the video is hidden somewhere else in the house or the video belonged to the friend of the owner therefore we're in the wrong house." Merridy decided after a bit of thought. She kept poking and proding anyways just in case.

"nope, seems just like a normal basement to me" Roger said taking one final look around the basement. "Wait, where does this go to?" he said as he walked to it and turned the door. The room felt cold and was almost pitch black. He almost screamed when he saw a black silhouette. he quickly turned on the lightswitch next to the door.
"oh......it's the garage" he said sounding a little dissapointed

Merridy chuckled slightly. "You know what?" she decided. "I'm just gonna take a walk around this...city, place whatever it is. See if i can find anything okay?" Merridy opened the door to outside and set out on her own. She hadn't taken a walk in so long, so it felt good to be having one now.

"are you sure that's the smartest thing to do seeing as this whole place is ravaged by arm-scythe....things and who knows what else?" Roger said he turned a switch and the garage door started rising up
wow, i'm surprised this switch still works he looked outside and suddenly his face turned pale
"You can forget about the walk merridy, we need to start moving......now, Look Outside!" he pointed as a giant figure started walking towards the house from down the end of the street. It had no eyes, it's empty sockets where two black holes, it's mouth was sewed shut. and it's colossal size was almost the size of the house. Following closely behind it where also several of the scythe-arm zombies they had previously encountered

"I get a quad!!" Tim yelled and threw the car keys to Roger. Then he asked "Who wants the other" he said jingling the keys by his face

Roger grabbed the keys and opened the car door. He started up the car. It was a four-door sedan, with a silver color and on the windshield there was some sort of sticker with an insignia on it but Roger did not care about that at the moment.
"Does it matter?! everyone get in!" Roger said wondering how many seconds they had left before the behemoth and the scythe-arm zombies reached to where they were.
Meanwhile, Nova came running into the garage and jumped into the backseat of the car through one of the open windows.

Alex took the other quad key that tim left behind. Alex revved the engine and gave it a little gas. "lets get out of here quick!!" Alex shouted over the noise.
