Actually being a gamer as occupation is also not bad, as the gamers can earn money and do what they love at the same time. They don't really intend to bring the fun out of the game, unless you have met one with a big attitude problem. On the other hand, being a hardcore gamer also got its real downsides, just like any glamorous job out there. So I don't think you will really get out of touch with reality

It's just those players who play the game totally for real money by using illegal means, who really get on the nerves. They can sometimes monopolize the economy in the gaming world.
