((Doesn't matter to me. I enjoy RPing with you either way.))
"Careful Lionheart. Swimming in the ocean is alot more dangerous than swimming in a pool. Don't go out too far." She shifted uncomfortably then answered his question. "I don't want a baby of my own if that's what you mean. I didn't even like baby dolls when I was little. I preferred my stuffed animals. Even now I prefer animals." She stared off out at the horizon. "I do enjoy caring for them. They are my pride and joy but the thought of my own baby. I am repulsed. I guess I'm warped." She brought her knees up and curled her arms around them as she stared off at the line between ocean and sky.
The crab had finally had enough and burrowed it's way under a large log where Kappy couldn't get it. She growled and dug for a bit then decided he was boring. She looked up to see Lion swimming in the waves and loped over to join him.

She looked up to see Lion swimming in the waves and loped over to join him. "I never suggested having your own child, just that you liked to care for others", Tri-blade replied, looking over the waves, "I guess that's where you and I differ. I am not much one for raising another. It may sound unusual to you, but I am not raising Lionheart to be a simple pet. I am raising him to be an ally in battle, someone to watch my back. Another will come, though. A human, destined to be my apprentice, just as I came to my master. I must preserve my art of sword play, and pass it onto my apprentice. That, as well as this swrod", With that, Tri-Blade unsheathed the katana upon his back. Upon the blade, symbols of tigers were engraved, "This sword was made by Massamune himself. It is the only thing that I have to remember my master by. Of all my swords, I treasure this one the most, and I shall only use it as a last resort. In a sense, the relationship between master and apprentice is much like that between a father and son"

((Oh wow. What you just told me is cool. Are you finally starting to crack just a bit?
Thank you.))
His response soothed her. She'd told him something very personal and he'd responded in like turn. "You think I didn't know that your not nurturer? That much is obvious by how many questions you have asked me about the Koivu."
She undid her body and let her feet bury in the soft sand. She looked over at him and the sword in his fingers. It was beautiful. Sharp and glinting with the realistic tiger engravings. She wanted to touch them. She'd had a rather deep love for the animal all her life. She held back her fingers and just set to look. The hands holding the sword intrigued her. Large and ruff but adept. She knew he knew every bit of that sword by touch and could use it. Deftly and with precision. She knew his whole body had the same ability. His whole self was large, ruff, and adept. It made him entirely too alluring. She wondered if he knew that.
"That is a beautiful sword," she said finally. "What was Massamune like?"

(You could say a slight bit) "Massamune was a sworsmith who lived in Japan many centuries ago", Tri-Blade replied, "He was the most legendary of his country, creating the most precise and beautiful swords. This one, the Byakugen, was one he made for a ronin, known only as Nanashi. His style, Byaku, is a very rare one. He began a line of succession. I, in turn, am the only disciple left who knows the art"

((*Feels slightly triumphant.*))
"So he wasn't your teacher. He just made the sword. Who was your master?" The sand was starting ti irritate her. Small bits were worming their way under her skirt. She wished she'd thought to bring a towel or blanket.

She wished she'd thought to bring a towel or blanket. "My master went by the name of Sheiryu", Tri-Blade replied, still looking upon his sword, "When I first met him, he must've been somewhere in his forties. I lived with Sheiryu for a few years, working as a servant, and in turn, he trained me in the art of war. My old master was a mystery. When you met him, you felt like you knew him, but at the same time, you knew that you actually had no knowledge of who he really was"

She wanted to laugh. He'd just described almost exactly how she felt bout him. The feeling of knowing and not knowing was all too familiar. "So that sword has been passed down from Master to apprentice for many generations. Interesting. It must mean a great deal to you. You haven't taken your eyes off of it."

"I apologize if I seem rude", Tri-Blade replied, quickly sheathing the blade.

((I'm so stuck as to what I want to say here. Too much emotion for one little Roar to express.))
"No your not rude. At least you haven't been to me. Much more a gentleman in a mask." A mystery man. A complete and utter mystery.
She stood up and shook off the sand. Then headed toward were Kappy and Lion were swimming in the surf. She walked in only until her feet were covered. She understood them. She'd always been better with animals that humans. She wanted to understand him and she was getting tid bits but it wasn't quite enough. She knew that the tigers meant something to him but she also knew he wouldn't tell her what. He'd expressed it so well before. He was so familiar but so foreign. Was this friendship worth this? She didn't know. Maybe she was in danger just by being with him. Getting close could mean that she could be his weakness. Could she deal with that? Would he let her be his weakness? It was all too confusing. She wouldn't mull things like this. She'd let it all take shape in the form it wanted.
"Kappy, Lion. Let's go find something to eat. It's getting towards dinner time anyway. I think I saw a fruit stand not far off. And I think there was a Cafe near it were Tri and I can dine." She turned to him so he could choose. She couldn't help but smile at the Merc sitting it the sand.
((I'm not sure that's how I wanted it but guess it works. Roar is rather confused right now.))

Kappy bounced out of tha water after Lion.
"Something you shouldn't be eating. I'll get strawberries for you to make up for it."
"Yes," she smiled at her Koivu. "Come on. Let's catch up."
They ran to catch up with Tri and the dripping Lion. "So what do you feel like having for dinner? Or do you have a preference at all?"

"I'm not really that hungry", Tri-Blade replied to Roar. As they got to the food stands, Tri made his way over to the meat locker, and bought a raw steak for his koivu.

She smirked at this. She leaned in to say in his ear. "Liar. You just don't wanna take the mask off." She then headed toward the fruit stand. "Two baskets of strawberries please." She payed and then head toward a taco stand. "Two please. Beef." She shelled out gold once again then headed back toward the meat market. Kappy had stayed with Lion and Tri. She was sitting and waiting. Finally all the manic energy is gone. Roar walked over to stand beside her pet, two small bags hung over one arm.
