Actually, I don't think that migraines can be assuaged by herbal means.
You see, migraines are caused by over pressured blood veins in the head. Asprin and other blood thinners work okay, but no organic herb that I know of can be used as a blood thinner.

Well, it was already suggested but caffeine may help that. It constricts the cerebral blood vessels. Which supposedly can help with hangovers too, I have never had one so I cannot say from experience. Since alcohol enlarges your blood vessels.
Caffeine
Rosemary and Caffeine is what I would choose to naturally get rid of a headache. Allong with some peace and darkness.
Rosemary is a nervine/sedative. Some other ones may include Chamomile, Peppermint, Catnip, Lemon Balm, Skullcap, Valerian, and Lavender.
Try a rosemary tea. I know you can rub the rosemary oil on your temples but I have not tried that before and good rosemary oil is too expensive for me.
