I know exactly what you mean. When I was dating Matthew, he would always lie to me about where he was going and with who. I would eventually become my knowledge that he had been cheating on me with a close friend of mine.
It broke my heart... I was in love with that boy, no doubt about it. D:
And when I confronted him about it, he told me he was sorry and that he didn't mean anything by it. He said that he just thought that I didn't love him as much as he loved me.
So then that night I... er... "assured" him that I loved him.
Then the next day he goes off and cheats on me again! stare
So I broke up with him... It was probably the hardest thing I had ever had to do. D:
