i just got a new flute a couple weeks ago...its a yamaha 361
it has open holes and a b foot(i got mine a couple weeks ago and have none of the key plugs in and everyone else has some in XD)
im obssessed with polishing it because of my old flute

my old flute is a bundy(i have it for marching) and it was so old im surprised it even played the pads needed to be replaced every 6 months and i took great care of it the springs fell off all the time and the wires came loose like every day
there were stains on the keys and where the right thumb and left index finger go
and worst of all it had a terrible stain on the lip plate that even after an hour of polishing wouldnt even think of going away
its closed holed with a c foot

i have a school owned piccolo that i got just a week ago its a Gemeinhardt 7334 i dont like piccolos with the silver headjoint i like it when theyre all wood i think this ones in a good condition cuz the high schoolers cares for the instruments(at least the flutes do at my school)

so yep thats it
im really happy with what i have
even though i want a new piccolo and eventually an alto flute and if im o so lucky a bass flute^^
