A: Chordates! In the Phylum Chordata, everyone is a chordate! All chordates have, at some point in their life, a notochord, a dorsal nerve cord, gill slits, a postanal tail, and a few other characteristics, too! Am I right?!

A. That is a trick question! Ezylryb didn't get killed, he died naturally in a deathbed whilst telling Coryn and Soren that they needed to read the legends.
Q. Coryn's mother, Nyra is not a tyto alba, but instead a what?

A: Well, there is no way to be 'sure' yet of this. But, there are many assumptions. Nyra, if you check the back character listing, is classified as a tyto alba. But I believe she is a:
1. Hagsfiend taking the form of a tyto alba through a charm, or perhaps evolved to look like that over time.
2. A Changeling like Lutta.
3. Any other one of Kreeth's 'experiments'
4. Nyra's parents, or grandparents, or whatever...came from Jouzhenkyn. So, she would be a form of the dragon owls.
Those are all my theories as to the possiblities of what Nyra really is.
