She stopped when she heard the other boy talk to her. "Probably the same reason you guys came....to think, to get away from everything." she said, she slowly turned back around. "Life isn't always easy...you need time to think don't you?" she asked him, her voice was soft but showed no emotion.

"Ugh! Kai, why'd you stop her!" Alex complains loudly. "She was about to leave." He moans. "I'm going into my second study, you stay with this dog if you want." He gets out of the chair against his wants and begins to walk into another room.

She resited in takeing back out her sword, but it took all her steangth. 'Everyone always has to look down on me don't they!!' she thought angeryly. Her face still showed no emtion.

Kai watched as Alex left to go deeper into the ruins. "Please forgive my friend he hasnt ever taken to hybrids please you can stay. Its even worse now that we have concluded a half breed killed are mentor"

She looked at him. "Well i'm sorry about that." she said her voice soft but still showed no emotion. "And i can understand that, most people this days don't like...." she paused and struggled to get the word out. "half breeds. But it wasn't like i was born like this." she said looking away. "And its not my fault i'm like." Anger started to rise with in her as she thought of him, but she pushed it away and locked her gaze out one of the windows.

"A filthy half breed named Rina." Alex retorts right before he leaves the room. "Don't worry, you'll never be as filthy as her." He says in anger and slams the door.

Raven winced as the door slamed shut. Her gaze was still locked on the window, she was trying not to make eye contact thinking it will make them more angery. Some of her hair fell over her face but she didn't bother to move it she stood perfectly still.

She looked at him. "Raven." she said. "I think your about the first person i've meet that doesn't mind....Half breeds." she smiled at him. "And you can probably already guess why i need a get away place, your friend kinda' pointed out the reason." she said looking away again and her smile fading. It had been the first time shes smiled scene she was three, but it hadn't lasted long.

Kai smiled for a brief moment. His hands where cold so he pulled his sleeve down a bit the castle was always very cold "Well im glad I could be human" he said referring to the fact that everyone should be tolerant. "And also sorry your treated bably for what you are"

She nodded. "Well after about 11 years you learn to get use to it." she noticed that he pulled his sleevs down. "Cold?" she asked. She took off her jacket and threw it at him, she was wearing a short sleeve shirt under it. "It gets colder during the nights." she said to him as she noticed the sun was setting.

Alex stands, leaning with his back to the door. He stands there silently as a small stream of tears go down his cheek. He had lost everyone important to him.
His father, his mother, his teacher... and now his best and only friend. He had lost them all to subhumans and their spawn.
He wishes he was a peasant. A normal birth. A normal name. A normal... life.

Raven scented a slight salt water in the air. 'Tears?' she thought, she looked back at Kai. "I think your friend needs you right now." she said to him.

Kai knew for the time being her could not be helped. "No im afraid he needs to deal with this one on his own for now" he said with a frown He didnt want to leave his friend alone but he could hear any mre acusations on his love for the time being.

She watched him as he helt the jacket she had threw to him. She looked looked at him with an almost confused look on her face. "Why?" she asked him.
