Nemone Hey Malkut, I noticed under one pic you said, at work reenacting. Do you do that as a job? Is it possible? That would be a cool job. It IS my job, and there are LOTS of them. I work at a state historic site, 8:30-5, five days a week. I've gone whole months without wearing shoes! It's SO awesome. If you want to try to get into it, historic sites are the places to look. There are some that are only semi-reenacting, where you dress up on weekends and stuff, and there are ones where you LIVE it, like Plymouth Plantation. Mine was kinda in between. Three weekends a year we live it...from friday morning until sunday evening. biggrin And then 8:30-5 daily.

I was what was considered temp help, even though I worked for over two years. So I only got minimum wage. The "perminant" employees got about 30k a year. Not much, but not bad, especially where I live...the cost of living is LOW. Malkut I was what was considered temp help, even though I worked for over two years. So I only got minimum wage. The "perminant" employees got about 30k a year. Not much, but not bad, especially where I live...the cost of living is LOW. I mean, what do they look for, how hard is it? Its the sort of work I would love to do, and that I'd be good at, but the chances of being hired are slim, I'd guess, with all the people dying for that sort of job. I mean, it's hard, but it can't be as tedious as a regular nine-to-five. (Then again, it might be. Ya never know!)

right now my husband and I live in augusta georgia but we might move to virginia, if we do I know I could find something like that up there. My husband would probably have fun doing something like that too, though he mostly looks like a vikking. Even his middle name is super scandinavian "Volkurt." I think it's cool. I guess one of his ancestors was called that.
