Enel appeared suddenly. "You called?" he said. He was a bit disappointed that he hadn't gotten to have fun yet, but whatever Aleese was talking about seemed important. It looked like she was sporting a bag full of things she had already stolen, Enel smiled. "You're a quick one."

I wonder if Nakuru got the message....Sanagi turned to Enel. "Did you get the message ok? about the jewel?"

Aleese beamed. "And...Just so you don't have to wonder so much about how I got it...There might've been this...Well...He looked noble enough so I figure he must've been rich...anywhos...The cloak was his. He was wearing it at the time...But...I fixed that..." She grinned mischeviously. "Mortal men are so easy to manipulate..."
Aleese sighs at the memory of how she'd planted ideas in the nobleman's head to make him follow her until they were alone. Then, she'd toyed with his mind enough for him to remove his cloak. She'd picked up the cloak and then murdered the man. "Hmm...I wonder if they've found him yet..." She said, thinking out loud, still grinning. Meh...Probably not...If the villagers' minds are as dull as the nobles', then the destruction of this place will be far easier than I expected.
Aleese shook her head, coming back to the present situation. "In a change of subject, Captain, have you seen Nakuru anywhere? We've been waiting a while with no sign of her." She creased her brow. She wasn't worried about Nakuru, she was a strong person. Aleese was concerned, however, that perhaps Nakuru hadn't heard her message. Nakuru's gift was the only one left to give, and Aleese didn't want to have stolen the silver for no reason at all. Oh, come on, Nakuru! I want to give you your present... She thought to herself, and perhaps to Nakuru as well, Aleese wasn't sure as to the range of her own thought entering the minds of others. She frowned.

Loxebedi woke up from his bed in the ship Maxim. He exited his room, only to find the ship completely empty with no one on board. What the hell is this... where the hell is everyone?! he thought to himself in a pissed off voice. They better not have ditched me. He bit his lip and searched the ship for any notes that says where they are and hoped there was something that would give away their location. But then he realized they're on an island. Oh how stupid of me not to notice this! He stepped outside of the ship, but was completely confused on where to go. They better send me a sign!

Aleese blinked. "Well I figured we should...Wait a minute..." She slaps herself on the forehead. "Yeah...Maybe...Hang on for just a second..." Aleese closes her eyes, silently reaching out across the island. Thoughts of salesmen, traders, and villagers entered her mind, but she must go further. She stretched her mind all the way back to the shores, the docks, and finally to their ship. She searched mentally, frantically for an alert mind. If only the rest of the crew had been awake when we'd left... She thought absently. It did not take long for her to reach the mind of Loxebedi, a fighter in Enel's crew, and she entered into his thoughts quickly.
Sorry Loxebedi, we got a bit overexcited and forgot about telling you where we were going. We're just on the island. There's a hill... Aleese quickly explained everything to him. She told him about the hill that they were on now and about the jewel that was inside the shrine which they were now standing in front of. Afterward, she drifted back into her own mind.
"Well..." She began, opening her eyes. "I told Loxebedi about everything. Do you think he'll come? Should we wait?" Aleese questioned, asking no one or anyone who would respond. She reached out once again, eyes open this time now that she knew the mind she was searching for, and found Loxebedi again, hoping for a response of some sort.

Aleese smiled at Sanagi, still concentrating on Loxebedi. All he had to do was think something and she'd know what it was. "It's no trouble at all." She smiled sincerely. "Anything to help! Honestly! The worst thing that could happen by communicating through telepathy at this distance is a mind headache. Not enough to be a real bother." She smiled again. Aleese had used her telepathy over long distances before. She didn't use it for long distances too often, she hadn't ever been properly trained to handle long distances carefully. The pain resulting was unpredictable. Extremely long distances would cause an excruciating headache and sometimes it would be bad enough to affect her entire body. But this wasn't much compared to popular areas. Aleese wasn't too good at shutting out other people's thoughts. Yet another downside to not being trained properly. In busy places such as the marketplace on the island, she had a constant headache. She'd gotten used to this quickly enough, though sometimes the headaches would get more harsh than usual.

Aleese jumped as Loxebedi arrived. "I never get used to that...And I hear people's thoughts..." She sighed, shook her head, and smiled. "Well, we're all here!" The smile widened to a grin. It had been a while since the entire crew did anything like this together.

Aleese blinked. "Oh, I nearly forgot..." She hands the box of silver cooking items to Nakuru. "They're mostly knives..." She smiled slightly. She turned to Loxebedi. "I haven't gotten you anything just yet...I will though!" She grinned and turned back to Enel, returning to the general conversation. "So who will it be..?" She blinked, under the impression that Captain Enel was going to decide who went in and who stayed outside.
