"Yes sir" Azure nodded, and stepped up onto the platform. The platform itself began to illuminate in bright blue patterns, ancient runes and symbols, spreading out from the center. He stepped into the center plate as magical devices now swirled around him and the crystal in his forehead began to glow brightly. His eyes glowed white.
"Azura Dreims Chetanva ap theta. Sheanavr'etheron terra connocte asertive fe crim syteim. Pycre ven dur Belcrant."

She sits at her place watching the mountian. She keeps monitor on life forms just incase.

Blade was watching down on the mountain as he saw it, the blast being absorbed by the creature. Sweat beaded on his forehead as he watched. "No," he whispered. "No... no... no! No! NO! NOO!! NO!!!!!!!" He slammed his fists into the railing of the window which crumbled like sand.

"NOOO!!!!" the demoness screamed as she watched from her crystal projector. "It's over.. It's over it's over it's over." she began babbling insanely as she fell to the floor.

The control platform shutdown as Azure fainted to the floor. His body lay lifeless, Dante having drained his energy to the point of near death.

"There's no time left..." he said silently as he heard the bells of the cathedral play their empty ancient song, which echoed through the city endlessly. "We are all doomed." He gazed up to to where Azure lay on the platform, and his eyes flashed pitch, a frightening sight as his shadow filled the room. He ran to the platform, and tossed Azure off unceremoniously.

Rhapsody ran to Azure and lifted his head up off the ground, showing the first bit of care for another living creature she'd displayed in eons. "Blade," she said, "You don't have the power-" as the beam fired.

The device opened up, and it's various parts folded away into the walls as Blade stammered haphazardly off of the platform. "Navr'etheron," he managed to whisper as he fell to the ground, "return to the eastern seas."
Navr'Etheron, drained of most of its energy, began to move away from what was left of Evanescent Mountain.

The Bandaged Man glares at the the city floating above him taugntingly. "They took away my imortality. THEY SHALL PAY!!!" The man raises his right arm which is really the claw of a dragon. A dragon-shaped blast issues from it and streams towards the city. The man smiles under his bandages. "That will teach them."

Niccea runs up chasing the city. She knew she saw her sister standing on the edge of it when the cannon fired. She sees the horribled blast and lets out a horrifying shreik. "What did you do!?!? My sister! It is time to see who you really are." She begins to unwrap the bandages on his face.

Staring back at her is her own son, Imerius, but his face was twisted and no longer kind. He smirked at her. "Surprised to see me, mother?" He laughs a demonic laugh. "Your son is no longer here. I have fully posessed him. It amuses me to hear him screaming at me trapped in his own head." He laughs again. "Humans are such weak and pathetic creatures. Blade may have foiled my first attempt at immortality but there will be a time when I acheive it! Let it be known the Lord Dragonclaw will someday rule Galen!" He laughs again a harsh and cruel laugh and doesn't stop.

She stares at her own son. A tear trickles down from her sheilded eyes. She bites her lip and flees from the scene to tell what has happened to Trenton. The blast streams closer to the city.
