I hope Mustaine makes good on his promise of coming down to Australia, I missed them last time they were in town, and it would be great to see them one last time before they split up.

Been watching the forums of late, Mustaine is in his God fearing Christian mode, which is hilarious to read about in his posts. I just hope his solo career doesn't suffer due to his new outlook on life. TSHF was an alright album, but did it *really* need 'Shadow of Deth'? neutral

James Macdonough sounds like the coolest member of this new line up, after Mustaine himself, simply for the fact that he used to play with Iced Earth.

Mustaine plans on going solo? Anyways although 'Shadow of Deth' wasn't necessary I still think it fit in good and sounded nice. Besides that I like the change instead of the usual anti-christ, devil worshipping lyrics which are all to common in Metal.

Haha, that was a little while ago. After the 'The World Needs a hero' tour, Dave apparently slept on his arm weird and got something they call 'saturday night palsy' (or some crap like that, anyway). Pretty much screwed up all the nerves in his hand and was supposed to have left him incapacitated and unable to play guitar. Fortunately, he managed a recovery, an released 'The System has Failed' AFTER he had recovered from the injury.

Okay, a litle food for thought...Dave's solo career?

Considering Mustaine announced that TSHF will be the last ever Megadeth album, and that he will start work on his solo career after he's finished touring, what are your feelings for the future? I've been wondering what kind of material he'll be releasing once he's finished and done with the Megadeth name. I'm personally wondering how having nothing to live up to will affect his song writing, since it's kinda like having a fresh start.
What do you think the first 'Dave Mustaine' album will be like? 3nodding
