After I broke up with Raitsu, life began getting better. I began seeing all that which I had left, blindly, alone. My grades improoved, though there was only a very short time before school let out, but they raised a letter, all of them save Japanese, which I had somehow been able to keep as an A throughout the year. The deep depression that had plauged me all year - mainly triggered by worrying about him so much, I found - lightened so dramatically that everyone was deeply shocked. I started sincerely smiling and laughing again - much more frequently than before. I started hanging out with my friends more, instead of waiting for him online or calling him a million times.

In short, I came alive again.

Which leaves me to present day. I'm still dealing with shallow pools of depression every once in a while. I still hide things though words. I still wear a mask occasionally. I still deal with seriously low self-esteem and self-confidance, but I think it's getting better...slowly. I'm getting better at making jokes, sometimes about myself.

Life is life, but I'm getting better, I suppose.

Now...if you all behave nicely (which means post) then I'll tell y'all about seventh and eigth grade, give you details and all that about some of the times that don't really bother me as much anymore.

Dealing with small bouts of depression is not uncommon, I go through them frequently.

Small bouts, yes. Anyone can go through small bouts of depression and come out the other end smiling. But larger bouts... tend to end in strange ways. Thankfully you can't cut yourself, sis.

I was a crutch? Hmm, I don't know if I should be happy that I could be, or sad that I was needed that way. Anyhoo... I am glad that I could help you, even if it was just by keeping the fellow RPers off your back while you learned to post properly. Hee, that was fun. I was never sure just how depressed you were, but I had an idea. Remember, little sister, I can read. Unlike your fellow classmates, I am a bookworm just like you. I'm used to interpreting things. Every bit of your early writings was dark, filled with pain.

I'm not blind...

Anyhoo... A sincere smile from you, I reckon, is worth getting rid of Raitsu. Who, by the way, you might want to tell to not come near me.

I never said small bouts weren't uncommon.

Anyhoo, I would say be happy because you helped.

To that last part, all I have to say is this: Hee. sweatdrop

Now, I'll post more later on, but I gotta gather all my thoughts. I'll edit this post later on.
