After watching Sarafean for a while, Rose got tired and closed her eyes slowly, her head resting on the matress.
Outside, Vone smiled to himself as he finished up the last of his chores, all the while watching his baby sister do her chores in a happy way. She is just so.... I don't know!

Sarafean tossed and turned in her sleep as her tep. started to rise.
Lora let out a huge sigh after all her chores were finally done.

Rose opened her eyes after a few minutes and looked at Sarafean. She was sweating now. Rose lifted a hand to Sarafean's forehead, she was getting hot. Rose got up and ran outside. "Please, I need a cold damp cloth! Sarafean is heating up!" she yelled before going back into the room and sitting next to the bed.
Vone stood up and looked at Lora. "Lora, go get grams! I'll get the water!" He started his way over to the well, a small bucket in his hands. He leaned forward and poured water into the bucket and began running over to the house.

"I'm sorry," she mummbled repeatedly in her sleep as her thrashing became worse.
Lora did as she was told and ran around to all the places her grandmother should have been. "Gram, she's gotten worse!" she said and both were rushing back to the house.

Rose could hear Sarafean's repeating words. "Sarafean, what are you sorry about?" she asked worringly.
Vone ran into the house and dropped the bucket on the floor next to the open door. He then ran over to his room to grab a cloth.

Lora and her grandmother ran into the room. Lora stood my the door awaiting any order her grandmother would give as she tried to look over the girl."Be still." she said as her bony fingers took hold of Sarafean's shoulders as he tried to keep the burning girl from openeing her wounds.

Rose stepped aside and just watched from the wall as the old woman tried to calm Sarafean down.
Vone walked in cloth and bucket in hand. He placed it beside his grandmother then went to stand next to Lora.

"Vone, come hold her still." she said with her crackly voice. Gram dipped the rag in the bucket of water.

Vone nodded and went over to the bed. He put his hands firmly on Sarafean's shoulders and kept her still.

Sarafean could fell something holding her down keeping her from trying ot get away from the pain. All of a suden a sharp pain ran through her chest causing her to yelp in pain then she went limp as her body went numb. Her icy eyes cracked open and looked into Vone's.
After sticking up the wound in Sarafean's chest Gram put the damp rag on her forhead.

Rose turned away, tears quickly falling down her face. She couldn't bare to look.
Vone looked into Srafean's eyes, not blinking once. He put a tighter hold on her just in case she might move.

Lora walked over to Rose and lightly put her hand on ehr shoulder. "Would you like to go outside and get some fresh air? I would do you some good." she said in a light, sweet tone.

Rose looked at Lora and smiled. "Thanks I would love that!" she said, turning towards the door.

Lora led her outside so she could calm donw and her friend could get some rest.
Sarafean watched as they left the room, then her attention was brought back to Vone as she looked at him.

Rose stepped outside and sat herself on the ground, her back leaning on a tree. She closed her eyes and prayed that Sarafean would be alright. Why is she so careless sometimes?
Vone continued looking at Sarafean seriously. He did not say a word to her as his grandmother did her work.
