How do I keep this family friendly but give you the full extent of what happened.....oh I know!

It went really good everyone there was very friendly and Roxas, Sora, and myself all had a really good time.
I personally am terribly sore from all the fighting (considering it was just about 2 and a half hours of straight combat). It's mostly in my neck and shoulders from all the sword swinging. Over all I'm going to start doing my best to be there every week because 1) I had a lot of fun and 2) These people are excellent combatants I could learn a lot from them.
I also have some websites that everyone might want to check out.

www.amtgard.com (national amtgard website)
Both should be chalk full of LARP info for the group so if you want to play you might want to look things over a little bit (very little because they explain most everything to you at practice). So yeah that's all I have to say.
I hope to bring at least 2 more people next week so if anyone wants to come just let me know and I'll make sure everyone gets there and has fun!

ill do my best to make it there next week...um are shields allowed? i didnt see the specs for it on the site...kinda hard to be a cleric without a shield sweatdrop

Cho: There were atleast 20-30 people when we went and it was fun!
Sorsy: Yes sheilds are allowed but they all need to be inspected first before they can be used. If they are deemed unsafe you'll be asked not to use it.
So yeah those questions answered ummmmmmmmmmmm....yeah.... sweatdrop I would just make plans to be out there next Thursday if you interested again and we'll see you on the battle field!

One would wear something light weight and comfortable.
Because it get really hot when your running around for almost 2 and a half hours. I would not suggest wearing skirts for the ladies because I've fallen on my a** more then once back-peddling from people.
