siamknight You can always try gluing tin foil on it or the faster way would be to spraypaint it with metallic spraypaint which you can get at any home depot or ace or hardware store (beware if you are under 18 have an adult buy the paint for you) thanx no worries I'm 20 ^__^

Rumania devilangelcholo hallo question here, I'm planning on going as Sol Badguy for AX 2006 with my friend cosplaying as I-no, I'm just wondering any tips on making his sword, only idea I have is making it out of wood, cutting bits and pieces of it from wood and then sticking them together, then painting them... and somehow make it SHINY!!! me like shiny hahaha, I appreciate any advice ^__^ thankies I don't know the character but my guess is making the sword out of wood is a good idea. To make it shiny, you can get a high gloss paint so it'll kinda look shiny...there are some paints that are made to resemble metal so just look around. Maybe ask the paint person at your local hardware store what would be best. biggrin just don't do what my friend cassi did she got distracded and well she has a nice scar proving that she made the sword Umi uses from Magic Knight Rayearth

does anyone have any tips on making Yuna's Tiny Bee Guns? and i want to make them as exact as possible. if there isn't really any way i could make them, then my last resort is asking PikminLink to commission them for me.

Rumania I think you'd be a really good Lupin the III. You'd be one of the only ones who look close to him. I've seen a LOT of bad Lupins... sweatdrop If you got a good looking girl to be Fujiko, you'd be all set! I missed this post... confused I never thought about Lupin. That'd be fun to cosplay. Yeah, a good Fujiko would be awesome! xd Thanks.

I rather agree with Rumania's idea, the high gloss stuff works well. There are a few others ways to try and pull swords off, fiberglass, plastic/foam core, wood/foam core...etc. Here's a link to a topic that really has help with most of them.

Okay, as some of you know I'm planning to cosplay as schiezska/scheska from Full metal alchemist(the bookworm chic) and I need help. I have yet to find any images of her in her full uniform. I remember distictly that she wore a skirt and flats instead of the pants and boots that the others wear. I wanna try to get as close as possible and I need a full body reference picture. I saw one a while ago and have yet to find One solid anime image of her in her uniform. I've found a website with someone wearing the actual costume but I'd prefer an anime ref picture. sweatdrop

DarkMag okay pple ... should i be tifa lockheart (advent children) or sheena (tales of symphonia)? Hmmm....I'm really not sure. I'm a big fan of both....Tifa'd be easier, but we could always use more Sheenas.

There are sooo many FFVII cosplayers already and advent children will be out by next AX and the cosplayers will increase even more. Sheena looks like an awesome person to cosplay as as well. 3nodding

Despite me being a huge Tifa fanboy, I'm gonna go with Sheena. Have to agree with the group majority here.

DarkMag haha ... that's true.
any tips on how to make the outfit? haha ... i suck at making outfits Sheena doesn't look like it would be too hard. You just need to find the right colors for the over jacket thingy, and wear a white corset underneath. If you know how to sew you could get a pattern and tweak it some it's not that hard, and it would make getting the over thingy in the lavander color a lot easier.
