Essays: 'Cause I'm forced too. I really don't like writing with strict guidelines. >_>

Novels: Working on one write now. <33

Short Stories: They're cool, but I find it really hard to do them. I can never seem to wrap up thoughts and stuff. I'm just really really bad at them.

Poetry: Love it. I write poems all of the time. <3

Descriptive paragraphs: I do that too. It obviously comes along with the whole novel thing, but I also just write random paragraphs of descriptions for things, and stick them into stories and such. We also seem to have to do alot of descriptive paragraphs in English. I'm pretty good at description now. ^_^

I find it dificult to vote for just one of the choices, so I will refrain from voting. The truth is, I write in all forms mentioned. I don't know why, I just write whatever comes to mind.

While I'm writing, I'm not sure quite exactly what will come with it until I'm about half way through or so. That's the only way I know I'll be able to conclude the peice properly. I know, its sounds so weird.

I need to stop being lazy and put some of my work here on the guild forum....

Me I see myself writming more of a short story type of thing. Only if the mood and inspiration strikes me at one moment. Poems do it for me also, unfornately like the short story I can only write a poem if a moments of inspiration strikes or my emotions become pressured or pushed in a certain way. I especially hate when I write poetry during one those *eugh* "hopelessly I've fallen for someone moods" Absoultly awful because after I sober up into normal again I look back at those poems and I get the impulse to hurt or destroy something. but anyway that's me. Never written a novel but I liked to, and I'm not to fond of descrptive paragraphs. As far as Essays are concerned I'd rather leave those wonderful institutions of learning to assign me such rubbish...

But, essays can be fun! I enjoy writing all types of literature, though mostly lately its just been random paragraphs. They all seem to have alot of potential, and someday, I might actually get the inclination to elaborate them into something else. But for now, they're just paragraphs.

Essays? I have tons of them. I never have to write an essay for school, because I just turn in one that I've already written.

Me and a friend of mine are collaborating on a series of novels: The Crying Moon Chronicles. There will be four books in all: The Crying Moon, The Dying Moon, The Moon Shines Again, and Into the Devil's Triangle. We have storyline and plot worked out all the way through. We are currently hung up on the language issue. We have to create a whole language...it's difficult, especially since we're having trouble agreeing on pronunciation issues.

I feel your pain in the Essays They're pretty awful. Though when I really understand the information I've studied I tend to go around 3-4 pages on the writing of my essays. Then again the letters of my hand writhing are pretty big

I mostly write Novels in my spare time. ((and for some spare money for college)) I write poetry all the time. Usually when I need to get something off my chest, or when somethings really bothering me and I can't stop thinking about it. I write it down in poetic verse and it helps me let it go. And then there are Essays . . . I write alot of these. . . though they always seem to turn out more as overly emotional passionate rants from a deranged mine ::shrugs:: but oh well. Each to his own right? lol sweatdrop

Well, I write most things, 'cept poetry cause I can write that to save my life. I think I even like writing essays and school assignments cause I can still express my feelings and emotions which is what I love most about words!

I'm all the time starting new stories, be they fanfiction or original fiction. I tend to stick to fantasy and romance, as they are my strong points. I love poetry and used to write that often, but I haven't had the inspiration for it lately. I have to write essays for school all that time and usually don't enjoy the writing part of it, but I tend to like them okay when they're finished. I don't particularly like persuasive essays, but anything else isn't so bad. I enjoy short stories, but can't usually write them to save my soul. I always end up developing the plot too much and it turns out to be yet another short novel length story. I try, though. I've written a few short stories that I was happy with.

I write because it gives me the chance to lose myself in another world and it gives me that power to control what happens. Sometime life gets so out of control that the only thing that is organized is my writing. It's also a lovely way to get your feelings out.

I like writing Short Stories and poetry because they are quicker ways to get ideas and feelings across. Novels are my favorite because I can create my own world and characters that can grow and develop.

I write mostly poetry because I like being cryptic and I'm very musical so the patterns and rhythms of poetry draw me in. I plan to start branching out this summer, though.
