Smiling to himself, the young aristocrat makes his way back to his quiet booth in the corner and resumes his reading. "Ah, young love, its always so sweet and refreshing to see something like that in a world like this." he mutters to himself quietly.

Adumar Smiling to himself, the young aristocrat makes his way back to his quiet booth in the corner and resumes his reading. "Ah, young love, its always so sweet and refreshing to see something like that in a world like this." he mutters to himself quietly. Mog chuckled and leaned against the wall next to him. "Indeed. I am Mog."

The aristocrat looked up calmly from his book, turning towards Mog. " I am who I am. A pleasure to meet you, Mog." He stated with a grin and a low bow, placing his hat above his heart. "What can I do for you?" he asked "Please, take a seat." He gestures toward the empty end of the booth, placing his hat back on his head.

She peeked in curiously before strolling in and settling into a cushioned chair near by, content to watch for the moment.

"Hello there" He calles to the newcommer "Don't be shy. Come have a seat. We're mostly all civilized people here." He turns to Mog with a smile. " I was beginning to think we needed a new face in here. What do you say?"

She waved back fro her seat, relaxing a little, but then tilting her head and the man's words. "Mostly?" She asked in a small voice, not frightened, more curious than anything.

He laughs lightly. "Yes, mostly. Some of us are overcome by the occasional demonic bought, but thats about the worst of it." He smiles politely. "Where are my manners? I am The Aristocrat. And what may we call you?" He asks sincerely.

She let out a soft chuckle as she nodded, looking over her shoulder for a moment. "I'll keep that in mind then." A smile formed on her lips as she nodded, turning back toward him. "It's nice to meet you, The Aristocrat." She scrunched up her nose for a moment, only to give into another smile. "I do wish there was an easier name to call you though. You can just call me Vie."

He let out a quiet laugh. "Its been a long time since someone made me laugh, Vie. Congradulations. You may call me Adumar." He said in a slight whisper, forming his cold, statue-esque face into a warm smile.

She smiled a pleasant smile, making brief eye contact for a moment. "Wonderful." She seemed to want to continue, but as if noticing something, the smile fell and she glanced around. A pained look crossed her face as she stood from her individual seat and padded over, sliding into the seat across from him in the booth. "I'm sorry about that, I just didn't want to sit alone in an already still room." She sighed and leaned on the table, her elbows propped and her face in her hands. "Apparently I strike again. It always gets very still when I'm around. Always." She let out a dry laugh, her eyes downcast and looking out into the room. "Almost like a curse."

He set down his book and sighed. "I know exactly how you feel. Its almost as if the silence bleeds from me, like a virus. I despise it so." He replied bitterly. His face remained unchanged, but his eyes betrayed the hurt, fatigue and loss that he felt. "If it is a curse, then let us suffer together." he says, offering her a warm smile. "Shall we?" he asks, holding out his hand.

Her gaze had returned to him as he spoke, and the various emotions that were in his own were not lost on her. "Very intriguing, you are." She seemed to have something to ask, but quickly changed her mind as he held out his hand. A surprised look crossed her face for a moment before she smiled back, sitting up and gently taking it. "Sure, why not?"

He returns her gaze, stedy and unflinching, as if to gaze into her very soul, then smiles and laughs. " Many people have said that, but you seem to be the first person who's not offended by a mysterious man. Its exciting to meet someone like you, so kind, so understanding, so...like myself." He said thoughtfuly, still gazing intently at her, still holding her gentle hand in his.
