Where did you hear that Disenchanted was about Bert?I was reading the comments on youtube for the special starred version of pretty hansome awkward, and a few people said that. I think its on page 4 or 5.

Where did you hear that Disenchanted was about Bert?I was reading the comments on youtube for the special starred version of pretty hansome awkward, and a few people said that. I think its on page 4 or 5.
While it could be true because Gerard does write about personal things hhe has gone through or felt...
I just wouldn't believe it until you come across him saying that it is about Bert

`The Rev I wish that they would be friends again
Since they are my two favorite bands
And Bert and Gerard are two of my favorite people
I also love how they shound together and how the bands play on stage with each other
But
I really don't think it's going to happen
I think that something big happened with them that really hurt both of them
It's not something they are going to get over
Plus, could you really see Bert saying to Gerard, "Sorry about bashing your band, and talking s**t. I didn't mean to. I was in the wrong, let's be friends again."
No
I don't think that's like Bert i really want them to be friends again, but i agree i don't think they'll ever make up and act like nothing happened between them.

i heart disenchanted its my favorite song right now!!!
but if its about bert how is it about him
it seems like the lyrics have nothing to do with just one person it seems like more but then i could see where it might come from in the song gerard said "as we ran from the cops we laghed so hard it would sting" i mean they had to have had good laghs together so if its about bert i could see where its coming from

We made this thread because there are a lot of rumors about The Used, a lot of rumors that aren't true and hurtful

About the Bert and Gerard not being friends anymore.
I heard they stopped talking for a little while just because The Used put the cover for Under Pressure on their CD. Gerard, and the rest of the band of My Chem wanted it to be something more hard to get or dare I say, "secret". But, they are at least talking now because it has been said that Bert was seen at Gerard's wedding when he married Lyn-Z from Mindless Self Indulgence.
