Daisy looked up at Chris, a glint in her eye. She then said softly looking back up to the sky, "I really don't know...I mean, I know it is bad that the animals and habitats will be harmed...but I can't help thinking there may be something to come from this. Perhaps it will try and pull countries together to fight the problem as one..." Daisy's eyes suddenly lit up as she sat up properly looking out over to the buildings. "...Maybe war could be postponed, giving the world a chance to move on."
Daisy the optimist- not something you see everyday. But suddenly her eyes drooped and she lay back flat in the grass, looking up to the cloudless sky, "Or alternatively, we could be frazzled, frozen or blown up. I don't think war is going anywhere for a bit." A sigh escaped her pink glossy lips as the sparkle in her eyes dimmed.

Paige nodded, it was true, perhaps the war would be postponded, but she doubted it. "I've heard the original meaning for the war was because of the need for oil and gas in the other country. About how much they should take and whatnot. In any case," She continued to look up to the folage of the tree, "I've also heard that they have resolved that situation. Something else came up during the battle though. As for the details, I have no idea."
She knew they might be suspicious of her source, despite the fact that it was from the government, although they didn't give it willingly. No news shows had reported this kind of thing. It was all on oil and gas. If they pressured her for the source, she could easily say her father. He did tell her some things by accident from time to time in his e-mails to her.

Daisy sat up slowly and looked at Paige intently. Why was it she knew so much about the war. This could be VERY useful in Daisy's....quest. She narrowed her eyes a little in suspicion and said in a half teasing way, "Now either you have links in the government or someone is being incredibly bad." Daisy then thumped back on the ground lying back looking up to the sky in an attempt to hide the malicious sparkle in her eyes. All the same she murmered out the corner of her mouth, "mind you...it isn't really MY place to say. No one really takes me too seriously." She gave a deep sigh and grinned safe in the knowledge it would not be seen.

Paige looked to Daisy who had become interested in her source. She smiled and waved her hands in front of her, "Its nothing like that." She stopped and continued to look to her as Daisy looked upwards, "My father is in the government. He usually doesn't tell me anything but from time to time he talks in his sleep and rambles on." She paused and sighed, "So, that's how I find anything out."
She was glad she had an alibi. She was being 'incredably bad', as Daisy had put it, and she didn't really care too much. She just hoped the government would never find out. She also hoped no one besides herself would know of her 'after school activity', as she liked to put it some times. In any case, she hoped that was enough to satisfy any questions as to where she would get her information.

Daisy's face will still concealed as she looked up so she narrowed her eyes- only this time out of annoyance. Then she sat up and looked at Paige half sympathetically half curiously, "So your father is in the war then..." Daisy did not have family in the war the main reason being that her father was useless and her mother and sister certainly wouldn't be able to help the efforts.
Tucking her legs in under the pink netting Daisy looked up at Chris who had been silent for ages now. She turned back to Paige and shrugged dramatically before laughing a little.

Paige nodded to Daisy. "Well, he is in the war, but more or less for intelligence. He doesn't go straight out onto the battle field, but he is over there." Paige looked over to Chris as well, perhaps he was in his world again, or not. Maybe he was just listening. In anycase she smiled to Daisy and looekd around, it seemed that the last of the students were filling in. Could it be that time already? She streached fell down on her back, starring at the leaves. School was about to start for them. She was planning to skip, or hang out with her best friend.

Daisy laughed a little and then looked up at Chris once more. Such a shame...he should really be more aware of his surroundings. He will never see me coming... She then shook her head slightly and turned to look at Paige who was now flat out on her back.
Daisy then swivvled around to the building and watched as the last few were dawdling around. Without a second thought she reached into her bag and pulled out her notebook. She doodled drawings of the last few in an exaggerated way and giggled at the way they turned out. She slid the notebook back into her bag and leaned back against the crumbling bark of the tree, little stories like a whirlwind spinning around in her mind.

Paige looked over to Daisy who had seemed to be quite amused. She watched as she pulled out a notebook, doodled something down and leaned against the trunk of the tree. "Hey Daisy...." She said, grabbing her attention before asking her question, "Aren't you going to head into class? Or are you going to skip?"
Daisy didn't seem like the person who would skip, so she wondered if she would. She knew that she was probably again. It always amazed her how she could have been expelled from the school with too many days of skipping. She never quite knew the answer to that. Maybe her father was paying them to not expell her. She smirked, it would be quite funny if that was true.

Daisy shrugged not stealing her gaze away, "I am quite new here. I am not sure where I meant to be. Also no one will miss me if they don't know me." She smiled a mischeivious smile at Paige her saphire eyes glittering in the light that filtered through the foliage. She then looked back towards the building laughing a little. It didn't suprise Daisy one bit that Paige and Chris would skip class. Paige seemed smart so she was probably loved by most teachers anyway and chris...well chris was really cute so all of his teachers would probably let him off so he doesn't distract everyone.

Paige listened and noted her smile, perhaps she would skip after all. "Heh, well, you'd be surprised at how the teachers are about skipping." She stood up and streached, looking around. It was about time for her friend to be coming. She wondered where he was, he couldn't still be checking out the explosion in the chemistry lab, could he? Paige smiled, this meant more time to herself before having to walk around all day.

Daisy followed Paige's gaze and inquired, "are you looking for something?" With that Daisy jumped up and stood on her tip-toes, looking around for something or someone that may be intrested in the tree. Her honey curls twirled around and shone in the light as she looked about trying to be helpful. After a little while Daisy's smile was gone to be replaced by a baffled look as she lunk back against the tree, her legs kicked out infront of her and her feet pointing outwards. She glanced in through the nearest window and strained her eyes to see the time. As she failed she sighed deeply and shook her head a little.

Paige watched as Daisy looked around, she tried hard not to laugh. For some reason she found it amusing. In any case, she shook her head, "I'm not looking for something. More like someone, or rather they are looking for me." She smiled sheepishly, looking over to the school and noticing one of the doors open. She smiled, "Ah, here they are now."
The principal walked out through the door, looking a little more annoyed as he would usually. He was relatively young, appearing to be about thrity five years old. He had short brown hair in no particular style and tanned skin. He was heading straight for Paige, Daisy and Chris and Paige said quietly to them both, "This is the part where you guys either run away and hide, or come along with me for the day." She smiled a michevious smile as the principal came up in his suit, stopping just a meter or so away from Paige.
His light blue eyes were glaring at her, trying to burn a hole through her, but she was standing there with a smile. "How are you today sir?" She asked, her smile still there.

Daisy's eyes struck a fearful look as she saw the principle edge closer. But she calmly jumped up and walked over to him with her most innocent look, her eyes sparkling and a baffled expression on her flawless face. She looked up at him from under her blonde locks and said in her sweet-as-sugar voice, "Sir, please can you help me. I am very lost and these two students don't seem to be able to help."
Daisy was breathing farely heavily trying to appear flustered as she clasped her bag infront of her and tight into ther chest. Her delicate fingers entwined around the handles of the bag and toyed with straps as she was nervous. She had never tried to fool this guy yet but she was sure she would be able to.

Paige starred blankly at Daisy as she went up to the principal and asked for help. She couldn't believe it! If the principal was stupid enough to believe this, Paige wouldn't run away today.
The principal looked down to Daisy, she definitly seemed to be nervous. He looked to Paige and Chris, just wondering how they could have made her so nervous. He understood Paige but Chris? He looekd back to Daisy, "I'm so sorry for this. Would you mind explaining to me your problem?"
Paige was speechless. He believed her. With a shrug and a sigh, she smiled to the principal and turned her back to him. "Well, you seem to be busy so..." She took a step away from him and he grabbed her shoulder.
"Just where do you think you're going?"
Paige smiled sheepishly to him, "Oh you know, around." She hoped that Daisy could get the principal to let go of her shoulder, if not she'd be stuck with him all day. Probably doing paperwork or worse. Then after she'd have detention till the sun set. Please Daisy do SOMETHING! She could have yeleld that out, but then the principal would be onto Daisy.

As the principal was busy with Paige, looked down at her floral wellies and rolled her eyes before looking back up at him pleadingly. Her voice wavered as if she were very anxious, "Please Sir, can you show me where I need to be? If I am much later I may miss crucial facts I need for my studdies. I thought perhaps that my class was in chemistry room 1, but I soon had to leave there. The smoke made my eyes water and my throat hurt." Daisy pointed to the chemistry room that seemed to be coughing smoke and pupils alike. She then looked back down at her floral wellies and shuffled uncomfortable on her toes, making her golden ringlets fall over her shoulders. She lifted a delicate finger to her eyes and pretended to wipe a tear from below it as she sniffled gently.
