She nodded and looked back down at him, mumbling something under her breath. If it worked, he'd calm down enough to be woken up. If not, nothing would happen. "Oh well..." she murmured after a minute, chanting something very softly under her breath. She slipped into his mind, to see what he was dreaming....

In the nightmare, she quickly found and started healing him and only prayed that it would work. Amazingly it did, but only because the same demon that was in Koori's place was helping. She fell out of his mind, somehow, and blinked several times once she was 'back'. She kept healing him, a very faint glow around her hands. She pulled away, unable to do more without hurting herself.

Naomi blinked, pleased but wary... how could this angel have done what she could not...? Was it... unique... or... maybe... "I'm really not as good as your angels, am I?" she whispered under her breath, feeling shame as a human but... "Thank you," she said aloud, smiling slightly at the angel.

"Not worse, just different..." she told the girl softly, not really sure how she'd managed to do that. It was in a dream, she shouldn't have had any control over it...
Koori, something strange is going on... The girl is a Mind and Pain angel, she doesn't have any Dream blood... I didn't do anything, I was about to when she was pushed out of the dream. Someone else is watching the girl. Take her back quickly, we don't know who's watching her. The demon(Alysa) told him mentally.

Koori jerked- Alyssa shouldn't startle him like that, it made him... moody- and nodded to the air. "We're going back," he said, stepping between the girls- a shame, Naomi and she had seemed to be getting along... fairly decent- and wrapping his fist around Taryn's wrist yet again. "...I'll see you some other time, Naomi."
Nodding politely, Naomi didn't meet his eyes and simply turned her back on the pair, kneeling again next to Kai and laying her hand on his forehead. He was... better now, but... what had happened...? Not... "Lucifer...?" she murmured to her self, calling the demon by his angel name...
Kai's eyes opened slowly, blearily. He turned his face back and forth- Naomi!
A girl?
Naomi!
Who was she?
Off to the side... a couple?
Naomi!
...why was that girl apart from them? She was getting closer... but why hadn't the others noticed...?
Taryn... the demon is trying to get away with her... Debiru's voice returned and the chatter around the den of Impure quieted.
Go...

Taryn nodded and stood up, gently twisting her wrist out of his grasp. "I'll follow you anyway, you don't need to hold onto me." she said softly, smiling very faintly.

Koori shrugged and told himself that the comment didn't sting. "C'mon, then." Did she know she was being watched...? Did she care? The idea made him... uncomfortable... anyway...
Garnet paused at the peak of the hill, feet planted in the middle of the dusty trail she and Kai had been following that morning... it was still morning, but it seemed so long ago...
She had intended to rush the angel Taryn, but thrown off- Naomi and Kai were there... Naomi had Kai's head in her... lap... why?
And where was what's-his-name, Koori, going with the angel she was supposed to be capturing?!

"What is it?" she asked, looking at him. She could sense his discomfort, and that it was related to her. But what was it?...
Koori, the girl isn't Pure or Impure, she in a way can't decide. But, she's watched by the Pure because of her relation with Debiru. I'll explain everything I can when you get back, but for now get her to Caemara. Debiru's can't reach her as easily there. Hurry! Alyssa told him, smirking at his thoughts concerning the angel.

Face turning red at the realization that Alyssa was listening to his mind, Koori mentally stuck his tongue out at her- an immature move, especially for him, but the quickest- and he placed his hands on Taryn's shoulders and hissed some words Kami had given him under his breath, pulling them into the other plane, layered not far above Israel...
Raising her eyes, Naomi watched silently as their forms faded from Israel. She... wished she could follow. "But I can't," she reminded herself, using the tone she would chide a young tenant with and returning her focus to Kai, whom was regaining consciousness.
"Damn!" Garnet cried, willing her legs to move faster; if they got into Caemara, she'd have no chance and some superior acting uppity Impure angel would be the only one able to reach them!

She shrank against him as they changed planes, hugging him gently after they were in Caemara. "Thank you... I'm sorry, but go. If they realize I left and find you with me..." she said quickly, worried for him as much as for her. "And if you can, go to another part of Israel going back, there was someone coming towards us when you brought us here, I think the girl was Impure...." she added. "Thanks again, but I need to go... "she said quietly, giving him a quick peck on the cheek before running off.

Kurami stood, behind the girl a few paces, her eyes wide and slightly worried.
But the boy seemed to be ok...she should go, she couldn't be spotted, could she? No. That would be bad...Kuri-baka didn't want to have to deal with getting hurt anymore, Kuri-baka should just leave...yes, she should..Kuri-baka would only be in the way...she began mumbling this to herself, low so she hoped they couldn't hear it as she backed away slowly, trying to make no noise.

Koori stared after her a moment, confused, wanting to insist he stay with her, or demand she go straight to their Lord for protection... after all, he was a Pure... bu t not a well-known one, due to his anti-social tendencies, and... few trusted a fire demon with the scent of Jinji about him.
With a sigh, he turned his back and closed his mind, beginning his return. He'd just have to take care of the Impure one Taryn mentioned; he wanted to talk to Naomi about his new found... confusion. She was the only one who he knew would both listen and... well, most likely not laugh.
Naomi heard something and turned her head slightly, glimpsing a girl out of the corner of her eye. With a weary smile she turned further and began to greet the girl, saying, "Hello, now, is there anything-"
"Naomi!" Garnet called, changing course at the disappearance of her target. "What's up with Kai...?"

Koori!!!! Alyssa yelled, as he shut his mind to her. Someone was coming, and would question why he was gone... Besides, she wanted to explain who the angel was, as Taryn hadn't done that herself.
"Taryn, where did you go? You used one of the uhntrackable portals, where did it take you?" He demanded, holding her arm too tightly for her to break away. "I went to Israel, to get away from everyone following me. I'm not stupid enough to let the Impure take me, and I'm not going to help you kill them all." she spat, glaring at the angel, her Pure watcher.

Profile for the Pure watcher? (can make it an NPC if you want) Koori stepped towards the girls, ignoring Alyssa's voice in his mind- he didn't want her to laugh at him, like she probably would do again if she could hear his thoughts... the girls were circled around the boy, who still seemed to be muddled. Why wasn't Naomi concerned with the Impure standing at her shoulder...? He knew she was eager to be one of Kami's, so why associate with one of his...?
