= it was processed in the dark room, i know the colours look a bit out of whack, but its cause my scanner is shite - it turns everything it scans into a BMP file. the files in MS Paint.

Dawn.is.Dandy No offense to [GHC], but I like this competition more than the main one. I dislike that I have to go out and take photos specifically for the competitions, and I have other photos I'd like to submit. I don't have access to a darkroom or a good digital camera at the moment, so being able to post old shots is great for me. So, AGVeg, I heart chu! You seriously made my day when I got your message about this. Plus, I love bw even though my last few rolls have been crap since I took them for a class where I had four years experience and all my classmates had barely touched a camera. Without reading the replies to this, I'll just add my 5 cent: You don't learn anything from this type of contest. It's fun, no doubt about it. But if you don't have some clear guiding lines, some rules you have in mind while shooting, it's limited how much you are gonna learn and that's the main thing about the GHC contests.
