"Wow that chicken and rice was good", Samurai X proclaims while patting his stomack. "Yum yum." He then goes and explores the pagoda alittle more.

((Sorry I haven't been on!))

Shinta was distracted for a few moments after Sasha embraced him. He bent his head sheepishly until the color of his cheeks no longer resembled his hair. Then he nodded and smiled at Sasha and Lux.

Xitha Moonglen
"Did you all prepare this meal? It smells wonderful!" Xitha said. She noticed that Shinta was still here and looking happier than when she had first met him.

"Oh, Shinta, everyone enjoyed the last meal you made. Did you actually get to enjoy any of it?" she asked, remembering that she had not seen him again that night. Until he showed himself at the gate, anyway.

Shinta smiled, "This one has other matters to attend to, however it is good to know that everyone enjoys my cooking."

His smiling face concealed a feeling of shock and suprisingly fierce protectiveness, then relief, at overhearing Tochi's confession.

He then gave Lux and Xitha a look of quiet gratitude for their trust in him and turned his attention back to Tochi.

"This lowly one hopes you are recovering well from your quest Yamato-san?"

Tochi looked up at Shinta. "Call me Tochi. And understand I mean this as politely as it can be taken: If you insist on calling yourself lowly, I will hurt you." He smiled and winked at Shinta and turned to leave. He decided to take a swim.

Lux looked up from her juice when that strange man, Tochi, reappeared in the kitchen. She gave him a quick once-over, noting how he could probably be easily lost in a crowd-a perfect assassin.
I'll have to remember him, she said thoughtfully.
Lux swung her legs off the chair they had been propped up on and turned so she was facing Tochi.

"If I recall, you said your father gave you the orders? Did they come from an employer of his?" Lux asked, her soft contralto voice, curious and questioning, contrasting with her sharp gray eyes filled with wariness.
Lux often used her voice as a weapon; people were always surprised to learn that this sweet-faced, sweet-voiced woman was the feared Ice b***h.
Lux smiled to herself. She greatly enjoyed taking people by surprise.

Tochi looked up at the woman. "Well I'm sure he did. You could have done something to offend the leader of the Shadow clan." He have her a curious glance. "Why?"

Lux' calm expression hid a reaction of pure shock.
The Shadow Clan? What in the name of hell did I do to offend them? she thought to herself. She had never been affiliated with them, nor had she ever been hired by one of their members-for all she knew. She took it upon herself to know very little about her employers.
Were any of my hits members? she wondered. No, I would have known...
Frowning slightly, she took a sip of her juice then returned her gaze to Tochi.
In answer to his question she said,
"I simply like to know who my enemies are. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."

Tochi leaned in. "If I remember corectly, I believe the name 'Dalorian' came into play." He pulled out a kuni and picked his nails with it.

s**t.
Lux shook her head as she leaned back into her seat.
I might have known, she thought ruefully. That b*****d.
Lux crossed her arms and drummed her fingers lightly as she considered the situation. There were no good scenarios in this case.
Quirking an eyebrow slightly in Tochi's direction, she said,
"I don't suppose you'd be willing to tell me more about the Clan? I've never personally dealt with them, so my information is rather vague."

Tochi kept a calm face. "We should all be so lucky. Very well.
Picture in your mind a gathering of the most skilled assasins and hunters in the world. That is the bottom rung of the Clan. They have not a single member that would think twice about using every dirty trick in the book and some they never thought to write. My father made a merger with the wind clan and I was the result. Now they are unstoppable. If a hit is put out on you, it is inevetable. You might as well enjoy the rest of your live. What little is left. Looking over your sholder is useless, you woun't see them anyway."

Nina Teleported to the kitchen with a scroll in Her mouth. Tochi took it and, seeing that it was for him, he opened it. He closed it after he read it and threw it into the fire pit. He looked at Lux again.

Fantastic. Just fantastic, Lux thought to herself. She had figured as much; once, when someone had compared her to a Shadow Clan assassin, she thought it was in her best interest to learn more about these elusive people.
So... Dalorian has these people out to get me? Well, he certainly is... determined, she thought wryly.
Lux had drawn her blade again, and was fingering the edge absent-mindedly. Now she stopped to examined the handle she had so lovingly carved, the blade she had so carefully shaped. She wondered who's blood it had spilled, and why that blood's blood was now after her life.
Great... Calcutta is hunting me, Dalorian has Shadows on me. Now where do I go? she thought.
Lux knew she could easily handle anything Calcutta threw at her; his minions were no match for her skill. However... Shadows were completely different. She didn't know what to expect.
But how did Dalorian get involved with them? she thought to herself, running through all the hits she had made and the bounties she had collected, trying to figure out just which had placed her in this situation.

"Would you happen to know just how Dalorian got involved with the Clan? As far as I had known, he had no connections with them. Of course, the last time I dealt with him was quite a while ago, and things change..."

Tochi looked at her with pity in his eyes. "As far as I know After you offed one of his loved ones he got plastered. when he woke up, he was sitting infront of my father." He pulled out a peice of parchment and scribbled something down and handed it to Nina, Who promptly dissapeared.

Shinta looked on seriously, a strange, deadly gleam in his eyes. "The Shadow Clan you say..." His voice sounded harsh and cold.
