I showed that one to my boyfriend and he thought I was showing him a clip of porn... I was like "no, it's a pocky commercial", and he asked what that had to do with pocky.

cecilia rose i was JUST looking at these before i found this thread. i love the commercials and the song is in my head now but what are they saying??? I think it says "Anata! Watashi no POCKY!" which I think means something like "You! My Pocky!" (Don't quote me on that. *nervous Japanese beginner who hasn't taken any courses yet* sweatdrop ). Apparently those Japanese TV girls don't want to share their Pocky with us. xd

Koji Imate cecilia rose i was JUST looking at these before i found this thread. i love the commercials and the song is in my head now but what are they saying??? I think it says "Anata! The decorer pocky commercial scares me a little (and if I showed it to Mom, I'd never hear the end of it), but the reverse pocky commercial made me laugh. I liked that one best.
*goes to get back to learning Japanese* Man... another reason I shouldn't slack off... *knows next to nothing so far... cry *

I think I could appreciate the other commercials better if I knew what they were saying. ^^; Otherwise, I'm just judging on the scenery and effects, and none of the others really appeal to me in that aspect.

And don't even get me started with kanji. bleehhh...I know probably a total of like 10 or 15 kanji.
