Well, the forest is mandatory anyways, so it REALLY doesn't matter where you go first. Not in the grand scheme of things, anywho.

I think that's what she was talking about, Sephiroth.
Hardest boss had to of been Saturos on the Mercury lighthouse, I missed Kolima Forest and didn't get that wonderful opportunity to level up Isaac enough to get the Ragnarok psynergy. Needless to say, fighting Saturos at level 8 isn't too fun -__-

i would think the deadbeard was one of the hardest because everything i threw at him just damaged him like around 100 and it was also the longest battle.he kept on using like more evolved forms of ice moves.(sorry forgot what the attacks were)i kept on using mothergaia, inferno (he also used inferno)destruct ray,and wish well and glacier.but i only took me 1 try to beat him.(i wasn't lvl99)

I dunno about the first, it's been literally forever since I've played it. In TLA, the first REALLY hard boss was Poseidon with his watery grave and water fist attacks. The toughest was definitely Star Magician, damn his flippin' guard ball! I didn't understand how to beat him at first, I just kept attacking him with psynergy and summons and unleashes until my entire party went down! I had to try like 20 or so times to finally beat the b*****d! (ok, MAYBE I'm exaggerating. But it was in that area!)

For the second game: Briggs was probably the first hardest boss for me, then Posiedon, and then that stupid Shaman guy...
