Gasten could sense it coming; he could sense most that happened in the room. As the bolt leaped towards him, his face twitched slightly as a cylindrical chunk two inches in diameter was blown out of the right side of his back, taking out parts of his lung and ribcage. However, this was not a result of Aaron's spell. Rather, it was Gasten who had blown this chunk out of his own flesh, flesh that was cleanly and very quickly removed from his flesh. IF all went well, the bolt would consume this flesh, now a foot separated from Gasten, and move right onto Aaron in front of him.

The bolt hit Gastons flesh, and for a moment stoped. It was touching the flesh but nothing was happening. Then, slowly the flesh changed. It slowly went from soild flesh to just blood. The bolt and now bloodly stump then retackted back to the storm in the center of the mall.
Aarons face was unreadable.
"You should give up while you still have the chance Gaston. Keeping on with this fight will only end with your death."
The storm was becomeing more unstable now emiting a low hissing sound.

While listening to Aaron gloat, Gasten passed his hand over the hole. Flesh did not fill it, but more a matter aliken to putty, to stop any excess bleeding. Gasten smiled, noticing the unstable nature of the spell. It would collapse on Aaron, and his mind, but would it be soon enough? Gasten decided to throw a small wrench into his whole spell, throwing out what are known as severance dispells, which attempt to severe or contort the ethereal link between magician and spell. He did this while adding in another quick incantation, surrounding Gasten with energy. "Au Contraire, good friend.

((Holy ********, I would have bet moneycash((omg slang)) that I posted last night. xd ))
Aaron frowned slightly.
"Good bye Gaston."
He summoned the bolts to come forth. And they did. The exact number would be hard to say, but it look to be at least 100 (damn meme). They would kill Gaston, there was no question. Only, they did not reach Gaston. They came close, to the point where Aaron thought they had in fact killed Gaston, but about a foot away from Gaston, they started to fizzle, and when the reached Gaston, he would at worse feel a slight static shock.
Aaron stood stuned.
The blood covering the mall disappered. The cloud remained.

Gasten stood their, wincing. After the short electric shock, he stopped for a second, and began examining his hand. After half a second, a smirk appeared on his face. The sort of smile that one would use lto look at a friend who had just told a particularly funny joke. He then finished his chanting. The energy that had surrounded his body now was flung towards Aaron. The energy was directed at Aaron's mentality, meant to cripple and destroy his mind.

To many things happened to Aaron in the next few seconds to really make sense of any of them.
The blood faded and Aaron heart sank. Had he not paused maybe he could have done more to stop what came next. The energy flew towards Aaron, and he knew he could not block it. So he just changed it. The spell hit him full force, but rather then only hurt his mind, it was partly filtered into towards his body. His body would be weakened even more, but he would trade his that for his sanity and smarts any day. And that might have allowed him to go on. But things were about to get worse for Aaron. The cloud was finished. It fell in on itself for a moment, but that was not how it intended to go out. Rather, it then expanded, with alarming force outwards into the mall. Bits of the wall were torn away, stores demolished. Once the wind ended Gaston would feel the last of the spell, but it was far from over for Aaron. He was still connected to the spell at some level. He was knocked out by the spell before it even fully disappeared. His body ended up in a wall, buried deep under ruble.

Gasten smiled, and looked over at the arm that had been ripped clean off of Aaron. He headed over, and the blood that had been slowly leaking from it flowed to his hand. Gasten looked at the blood, and said a few words... But nothing. Gasten began cursing loudly.
"Stupid ******** WEAKLING! WHAT DOES IT MEAN I WASN'T ATTACHED ENOUGH???"
Gasten threw the arm against the wall with a little amount of force. Gasten smiled, placing his forehead into his hand. This time he spoke quietly, to himself.
"Well, let's go make a new friend."
With that, Gasten zoomed off into the escape hole that Aaron had made. But before he left, he dropped a small white index card on the bloody floor. Gasten left, chuckling.

Clang
Clang
...
Clang
...
BOOM
Clang
...
Clang
As the ruined elevator violently slammed out of the bottom of the shaft, something followed it - a massive figure, seven or eight feet tall, reminiscent of an orangutan with it's lanky, long-limbed body and potbelly. The creature stalked towards the nearest corpse, chittering incoherently...

Bruno was growing worried, which explained why he was now inside USA mall.
He looked like any normal body gard, if a little larger. He stood at 7 feet 4 inches, and was about as wide as a doorway, which often caused trouble. His black suit and matching black glasses suited him well, as did his shaved head.
He could wait no longer. Aaron had never be gone this long on a mission without contacting him. He frowned and he looked around the top floor of the mall.
"Guess he went below" Bruno thought to himself.
He saw the empty shaft and sighed. He really didn't need this. Without a word he jumped down the shaft.
*Wham*
He landed and brushed some dust off his suit before his eyes caught sight of something that took him by surprise.
The corpse covered mall did not worry him. He'd seen many things just as bad. It was something or someone else. It was a little taller then Bruno and heading towards a body. It must have noticed him. Bruno did not like the looks of it. He started looking around the mall for Aaron, while at the same time keeping an eye on the beast.

A guttural noise emerged from the creature, almost a morbid sort of purr, as its mandibles viciously tore into the corpse, a single gnashing motion of the teeth removing several pounds of flesh and shattering the bone.
But the meal was interrupted.
A casual flick of one arm sent the corpse flying as Lokeem turned around, turning his head this way and that as he examined the intruder. The figure confronting him was certainly larger than most he had encountered - it almost rivaled Lokeem in its stature.
A guttural roar, and the beast rose up, standing full at seven feet and eleven inches, lanky arms hanging almost all the way to the ground, massive fists clenchign and unclenching...

Bruno would rather avoid this fight, but sadly he saw he could not. Aarons body was laying still not far behind the monster, and Bruno had just spoted it.
He started moving foward towards Aaron and the beast, his face unreadable, his fists closed.

The beast seemed oblivious to Bruno, it's oily face buried deep within the corpse's innards, a foul squelch now and then marking the mastication fo dead flesh. After a few more gulps of rapidly putrifying flesh, Lokeem reared its ugly head, one arm convulsively clamping down on the corpse with such force as to simply shatter the limb it clenched - the grasping talons brought a completely pureed mixture of flesh and bone up to Lokeem's jaws.
Beedy eyes focused suddenly on Bruno as the hulking figure approached. The hand shoveling organs into the giant beast's mouth dropped away as its maw openned up in a guttural, booming roar - a massive, almost forceful blast of unfocused sound that rang out across the ruined mall.

The roar would have stopped most men, but it took more than sounds to make Bruno retreat. He moved forward, picking up his pace. If he was going to fight this thing, he was going to fight it head on.
((Sorry it took so long. I've been playing the Sims 2 more, plus a part time job ((which I have to go to in.....6 hours)) and getting ready for classes, I've been neglecting this guild.))

With a snarl, the daemoniac creature whiped one arm out and around, flinging what would have been its latest meal at Bruno. Lokeem's considerable bluk would follow directly after - too much attention given to the thrown corpse would leave Bruno in poor condition to deflect the beasts' headlong tackle. The force behind the thrown body alone was shocking, enough to indent a reinforced wall, and Lokeem's own mass would connect with considerably more frightful force than that.
Even down here, in the depths of the mall, the wanton madness in the city above was audible - the booming echo of gunfire and collapsing masonry counterpointed beautifully by the angry wailing of police sirens in hot, if confused, pursuit of wrondoers.

((I'm sober this time. cool ))
The body hit Bruno's chest and......bounced off, its bones cracking as it landed. Bruno would have let a smug laugh escape him, but before he could draw air the beast was on him. Bruno was surprized by Lokeem's power, which was enough to force him backwards. While he was able to remain standing, he was now around 25 feet away from when he had been before Lokeem's attack. Still intent on getting to Aaron, Bruno attemped to grab Lokeem by the arm. If he could, he would try to toss Lokeem into the nearest wall.
