Ren stayed in the tree as the others disappered. He loved storms and lived outside anyway. Silently he thought to himself how familiar the rest of the ninjas were with each other, and for a second longed for his family. Shaking away that thought Ren layed back and allowed the rain to gently wash away his anxieties.

Arianna came back the next day, hopeing for some company...she lay on the lake just below the waterfall, halfway asleep. "Sigh."

Ren sensed someone down by the lake and jumped from the tree. He quietly crept down to the lake and saw a familiar girl lying there. He sniffed the air (canine scent - clan trait sweatdrop ) and went and walked up to her. 'Why are you all alone here?' he said

Arianna's eyes snapped open and she saw Ren standing over her. She sighed inwardly. 'You'd think with chakra like his I'd be able to sense him...man am i outta shape.' she sat up and faced him. "Nothing really, i come here to think alot. The sound of running water clears my mind. Your thar guy from yesterday right?" she asked. "My names Arianna....uh..i dont really have a last name."

'I'm sorry, I seem to scare people a lot, I don't mean to' he said, realising how dumb he sounded. 'And yeh, I recognised you. I'm Ren, Okamiga Ren' he said. 'My clans not well known round here' he sai gazing at the waterwall. He sat down next to Arianna and sighed.

Arianna smiled, but then it fell when she remembered where she heard that last name from before. "Oh..Im sorry for your loss, truly I am." she said, a bit embarassed.

'Oh, its okay, theres a few of us around, I only really knew my father and thats all anyway. My mother died giving birth'. He smiled, to cover up his sorrow and played with a stone. 'I like being the only one in this village, makes things more...' Ren struggled to find a word. 'Exciting?'

Arianna laughed, lighting up the mood, or at least trying. "I guess you could say that." She smiled ruefully. She reached in the water with her hand and grabbed a rock, she chunked it at the tree, asentmindedly ((or however you spell it >.<))

Ren cringed as the rock hit the tree but didn't say anything. He lifted the stone he had up to the sunlight and examined it. He took out his kunai and started chipping at it.

It wasn't long before Ren had managed to chip out a beautiful Amethyst stone. He lifted it up to the sun again and the light shone through it, shining purple rays on his face and clothes. 'All kinds of things end up in this river' he said, polishing the stone in his shirt.

Arianna stared at it wide eyed. "Wow." she muttered. The amethyst glimmered, and reflected the suns rays, shining into the lake.

Ren hesitated and handed Arianna the amethyst. 'You can have it' he said stubbornly 'I don't need it, I just collect things for a hobby' Ren thought fondly of his collection of bits and bobs he had at his home in the woods.

Arianna was surprised. "R-really? You dont have to. It is your's and all." she said. Trying to hand back the Amethyst. But when he didn't take it she gave up and cautiously held it in her hand, probably afraid of breaking it.

'Don't worry, you won't break it' Renn said reading her again, 'its a crystal after all' He smiled to himself before standing up. He took out a kunai and scanned the water slowly. Ren threw a kunai in and quickly ran after it.
