A large gust of air whirred out of Ciro’s mouth as he blew up his bangs in relief. No attack, good. Very good.
His little moment of victory, however, was interrupted as the boy flinched as if he had been hit with a stick. Apparently Shamash had something to say about this.
“Seems good enough to me,” He managed to cough out as he recoiled his composure, feeling all too vulnerable with a more skilled godling at his side… But now he had two allies. Crow and Fish….What the hell?! Was he some kind of animal tamer? What was with these names? Maybe he should change his to “Bull” or something so that he could fit in.
“I’ll be sure not to tell anyone… Not that I expect to do much talking in this anyway… I’m looking forward to this, Crow.”

"As am I, Ciro."
She smiled the same odd smile she did before, the one that had him confused from the get-go. Unfortunately for the two new allies, morning had come, and no longer could they simply hide in the shadows.
"I have to go, Ciro... See you soon."
With that, she turned and dashed away, her stride long with each clomp resounding loudly, at first, and eventually it faded away after a few minutes.
'See you soon, Ciro, I hope...'
