I live in California - grew up in India, watching Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam movies (yes, I'm a grown up!!)

I live in CA. I rent my movies from Indian Movie Club (desi version of netflix) My favorite actors are SRK and Saif Alik Khan. Actress - Aiswarya. My current favorite movie is "Being Cyrus"

So where are you from? Where do you get your movies? Are you lucky enough to live somewhere where you can see Bollywood movies in the theatre? How did you get into Bollywood in the first place? What are your favourite movies, actors/actresses?

Aloha! Or should I say namaste? (or namaskar.. salaam.... -shrug-) Anywho, hello! First I'd like to say YAY I'M IN HERE! I'm really excited to be in this guild and look forward to having great discussions and lots of other fun things. I live in NJ (and proud of it), am 21, and I get my movies mainly from an Indian grocery store in towns around mine. I've recently discovered some theaters in NY that show Bollywood films and from time to time the next town over shows them too. I kind of stumbled into bollywood when I was trying to download some belly dance music. My first song was Ghanana Ghanana (sp?) from Lagaan. I searched "Lagaan" and thus began my infatuation with all things Bollywood and India. My favorite actors are Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, pretty much all the Bachchans (sp?), and a few others (mind is going blank (bloody migranes)). My favorite actresses are Rani Mukherji (sp?), Madhuri Dixit, Kajol, Preity Zinta, Bhumika C. (my spelling is horrendous), and Amrita Rao. I'll come back to post some more but thats it for now.

Hey, I'm Diya, I live in the US some where up north. I LOVE BOLLYWOOD! I have been watching Bollywood movies ever since I was born as my parents love Bollywood too. I am a professional dancer of Bollywood dances. I self-choreograph my dances and perform them at talent shows and competitions around the world. I have won 1st place in three national competitions so far. (though I think I usually win because it's an american talent show and my dance is full of a wide variety of things. [Ex. indian music, indian clothing etc.]) Does anyone know Neopets? Ew yeah I know but I used to run one of the biggest Bollywood guilds there so you may know me from there. My uncle owns an Indian store and so I get to see any Indian movies I want whenever I want, and here's the best part.... for FREE. Yay! razz Hmm fave actors... DUH HRITHIK *faints* and John Abraham. Fave actresses... Aishwarya and Priyanka. I am from India and so speak Gujrati and Hindi. My favorite movie of all, so far, is Dhoom 2. I LOVE the Hrithik and Aishwarya pairing and so can't wait till Jodhaa Akbar. Sadly Aishwarya won't be in Dhoom 3 as of now. I am always up to date on Indian gossip so you can ask me any questions you wish to. That's all for now...
