I read that chapter...I don't think he's happy...I think he's just really pissed at Kuro-rin right now and wants to piss him off by using those names again.

Personally I don't think of Fai as a emo. stare
It's just with such a sad past he was feeling gulity about what happened to his brother, mother and everyone. He tried to make the best of it and become happy again. Sayoran, Sakura, Kuro-pin and Mokona helped him with that. Then when something happened to him with the so called "Sayoran," it resulted into a catastrofic emotional backfire. Especially when he was trying to help "Sayoran."

Depressives often hide emotions behind jokes and cheerfulness. Emo can mean many things, I'm sure.

Yuui Flowright hotaru~no~hikari everyone has horrible moments in their life, when they want to die. but that doesn't mean they're emo. Thats very true, he had a very bad/sad past, so it gives him a reason to be drepressed. Still I perferred him happy, but I still love him no matter what way he is. 3nodding

Fai's not emo. Emo's are emotive hardcore, they display there emotions to get attenion or just let you know how they feel without caring what you have to say about it. Fai doesn't show his real emotions or dress emo or anything like that. He's sad inside but he's not going to tell eveyone about it. Don't confuse 'emo' with 'sad'.

Actually, he was depressed (not emo) the whole time. But, up until he lost his eye he was just hiding it. =o no one else noticed that!
