"I want you to gather all my chief riders, Audra, M'ndarb, everyone! I want to hold a council." Keli told him sharply. She allowed her eyes to soften just a little bit, he was kind of cute, for a bronzerider and all. She gave him a pat on the back. "Now, go!"

Re'yil bowed and turned on his heel, following Keli's orders. He managed a small smile at the pat on the back. He wished she would show him some affection, but he knew she felt none for him. Thsi relationship was all one-sided. He sighed, first locating the other Bronzerider. "M'ndarb, we're having a meeting. Help me alert everyone." he requested. The large Bronzerider nodded, going off in a different direction while he went to look for Aludra.

"Hn," Lay commented shortly, rubbing her finger over the dagger hilt on the dagger she momentarily had strapped on her thigh. Because of the sleevelessness of her dress- it was a summer dress help up by thick straps(I'm assuming it's hot out)- she couldn't wear her wrist daggers, not if she wanted to broadcast to everyone her dangerous nature.
Hearing the dim, screeched calling for someone from inside, Laylana raised her eyebrows and glanced back at the doorway before looking at Shard. "Keli?"

Audra was still wandering the makeshift Weyr when she ran into Re'yil. "Good afternoon Weyrleader." she called out to him.

Shard had winced the minute the call rang out. Shard nodded. "Yep, that's her. She treats Re'yil like dirt. But the guy just takes it. I really don't understand him at all." she said, shaking her head.

Re'yil jumped as Audra suddenly appeared. "Oh, Audra, I was looking for you. Keli is calling a meeting and your presence it requested. Come." he said, turning and striding back the way he had come. M'ndarb was already with Keli, as well as a few others.

Audra just nods her head and follows Re'yil into the meeting room. Audra stands at attention, waiting for the meeting to start.

(I was gonna have Laylana be perceptive again in regards to Re'yil, but she's just not the type to actually believe in love.)
"Huh. Perhaps he's slow?" She suggested, then placed a long finger against her lips, lightly tapping them. "Or not. Either way, if she is calling for a main rider- which I am assuming he is, since you mentioned him?- then perhaps we will not be waiting too much longer for action to be taken."

Shard loked lazily back over to Laylana. "Re'yil is the weyrleader." she said bluntly. "Oh, and I'm sure it is just more planning." she added. She then got a glint in her eyes. "Wanna go listen in?" she asked, tilting her head. "I know all of the tunnels and caves of these cliffs."

Laylana's eyelids twitched, as if she wanted to blink but had schooled herself against such displays, and then grinned wickedly. "Sure. Sounds good." Standing, she offered a hand to Shard, as much to seal the pact between the two as to help the girl up. "Let's go listen in."

Smirking, Shard accepted her hand. "OK, let's go." she said, walking down the tunnel. She made sure she knew what tunnel the meeting was to be in. She grinned once she saw which one. There was a hole above where they were standing, and she knew how to get to it. Taking different, smaller, less used tunnels, Shard and Laylana emerged in a small hollowed out area, a hole in the floor. Shard creeped over, then peeked out. Ah, there they were. She motioned Laylana over, then put her finger to her lips, signaling silence.

Moving with only the slight swish of her skirts, Lay peeked into the room and smirked in a not-so-nice fashion, keeping quiet so they wouldn't be discovered and waiting for the meeting to commence.

"Please, sit everyone." Keli said to the eight or so riders standing about in her weyr and motioned towards the long table that sat at the far wall. She almost outwardly grimaced, there weren't any meeting rooms in these caves because of lack of space, and she didn't like these riders, however loyal coming into her personal space.
She moved quickly and took the seat at the end of the table. It wasn't really a table so much as a long, hastily-cut log set on two rocks. Things would be so wonderful when she was Weyrwoman of Recaina, like she was supposed to be in the first place.
"Now," She started in a low voice. The caverns around here echoed a lot, so they were good when you wanted to call somebody, but for meetings like this one had to be discreet. "I want to make sure you all know your places. Who did I send out to find out when the hatching was going to be?" Keli asked distractedly, she was still thinking of the Weyr. Her high, icy voice cut through the air and reverberated around the chamber. One of the blueriders got up and checked outside the door to be sure there was nobody there before sitting down again.

Laylana's eyes narrowed and she leaned forward slightly. The Hatching? Did she mean that there was to be a Hatching at that Shining Heights Weyr place? Was she going to attempt something during a Hatching? It could ruin all chance of anyone Impressing and kill the dragonets if she timed it wrong!
She almost asked Shard, but caught herself in time and leaned back, staying silent. It wouldn't do to get caught before she could find out.
(Quick question: Is there a Rebel Clutch on the Sands?)

A youngish brownrider spoke up. "You sent me, Weyrwoman. I wasn't able to get a set date, but within the next three weeks, they expect the hatching to take place." he said. "I suggest setting the plans into action at least a week before the hatching date." he advised.

Shard looked up at Laylana, but said nothing. They planned something with that hatching. Or...before the hatching. But what could it be?
