YoThere is this word "Jouice" I know its speepled "Juice", but I always spell it "Jouice" rolleyes

Really? Sometimes when I'm correcting my friend's homework I'll be there so long I think words spelled right are wrong.

I check their spelling and put a checkmark (in pencil) for wrong answers.

The reason spell check can help is beacsue you realize you spelled it wrong suddenly. It gives you the oppertunity to correct your mistakes and instead of typing the same mistake again, you can correct it if you look. What doesn't help is auto correct. If it's corrected automatically and you're not one to be fussy about Word doing things, then it won't mattter. I was a terrible speller. I started using word and I improved tremendously. Granted I still can't spell some words and up until recently I couldn't figure out how to spell Against but I improved because I didn't like seeing the red of Word and I didn't like going threw and correcting all of my mistakes.

Word is a document that comes with every Microsoft computer. It can probably be downloaded from several places online but there are other programs that just give you black pages to type on. Spell check is a program that comes with those, and several other things that goes threw your work while you're typing it and underlines spelling errors in a red squiggilly line, and grammatical errors in a green squiggilly line. It's with the updated Firefox currently as well. You can right click on the word that is misspelled or the gramatical error and it will give you help to figure out how to spell the word, or what you did wrong grammatically.

I'll misspell the same word 4 or 5 times because I con't remember how it told me to spell it. DBK: You're doing it again. You didn't use capitalization and you used txt tlk stuff. I think this is an awesome idea but if even you can't follow through how are we expected to?

I'm sorry, I must've been having an "off" day. Yeah, I suppose it would help if I practiced what I preached, right? Hehe, sorry.
So, I know this thing's been sitting around here, collecting dust and bad karma, and seeing as Mystriotrix gave me the reins on this forum a while back, and that I haven't done much with it, well it makes me feel like a bad crew member.
So... Anyone have suggestions as to what they'd like to see? Specifics? Anything, really, to get this thing moving again? How about some double-contractions? Couldn't've passed that one up, huh? (*yawn... just kidding...).
But seriously, If this doesn't go anywhere soon (perhaps within a week or two) I'll ask Mystriotrix to delete it, if only for the sake of helping to de-clutter the forum-welcome page.

I just had a flash of the blatantly obvious (as Oprah put it). How about everyone [who's interested] writes a small poem? 4-5 lines, nothing fancy. Anything, could be about this guild, how much you hate (or, God willing, love) the idea of this school, whatever!.
