Emperor Toji GAH! THE YAOI (slash) PAIRINGS! MY EYES! THEY BLEED! Oh, and this made my eyes bleed too: DISNEY PRINCESS EPONINE! D:This is why Google is odd... Its only a matter of time now before Disney makes Les Miserables into a cartoon movie...Which has some sort of small talking animal...And on the day that comes out...I will kill myself. I don't think that was intentionally drawn to look like Disney. I saw that pic on dievantart and I just think thats just the artist's style. You know, I think its very possible to make a more... child friendly Les Mis without butchering it. The only thing that needs to be cut out is Fantine's prostitution. And something like that would be easy to imply, so that an adult would get it but it'd go right over a child's head. And of course, violence would have to be toned down. I mean like, for the barricade scene just have a gun shot off screen and pan over to see somebody clutching his chest, maybe not bleeding, and then he'd fall over. PG rating easy talk2hand btw, yaoi is a drawing or animation in the Japanese style depicting a man/men in a homosexual and erotic manner.

I take Japanese at my school, Yaoi can also apply to fanfictions, or anything involving men in a homosexual manner thank you, according to my teacher, who actually IS Japanese, born and raised there.
But you see my problem is not that it can't be done, its that its Disney, and they would add a small talking animal, and most likely a crappy sequal.
Also, considering you just shot down my opinion, that makes you a hypocrite ((Talking to the person before you Public)). According to you, I'm not allowed to voice my opinion on the subject in anyway, shape or form. After you just said that others voice their opinion on the subject supporting it. I am not what they call a Homo Phobe, in fact quite the opposite, I have many many friends who are of the homosexual orientation, I just happen not to like Yaoi and am surrounded by Yaoi fangirls ((And some fanboys)) on a daily basis.

Disney couldn't make a movie about Cosette anyway ( non-author sequal rolleyes ) I've never read it, but I've heard half the books about Marius hitting up the red light district. talk2hand ...I wouldn't mind seeing Javert's revenge though...

PG rating easy talk2hand The anime Shoujo Cosette does exactly that. Considering that I'm usually quite harsh with anything that touches Les Mis territory, I'm quite impressed with the anime so far. It cuts out Fantine's prostitution, fair enough. It's aimed at kids, so Cosette is the protagonist. I thought this would be enough to put me off, but it's surprisingly good and worth a look. Far better than any Disney version they could ever make, and so far quite close to the novel (if we overlook the random character-building episodes).

A 64 year old native speaker of Japanese would indeed know the meaning of the term MUCH BETTER than a young woman from the United States, so yes in fact, I am right on that note. On another note, its called a joke thank you very much Malade. And if your going to fly off the handle and attack people for saying a joke that you don't fully agree with, than frankly, you don't belong around civilized society. I've said my piece, I've finished my rebuttal, and now, I'm dropping this subject, because I'm dealing with someone who obviously doesn't have a sense of humor.
