BloodDonation I hate The Giver, any of those Narnia books, and about every school read book. They're so boring, and dull. Narnia was just stupid in my opinion. Then again... I'm a very picky person when it comes to reading hard copy books. I don't have the will power to sit and read for long periods. am i the only person who liked the giver? i thought that was a good book... but i agree with you on the narnia thing. i was in the play for it at my school and before i did the paly i thought it was okay but afterwords i hated it

I hated the Narnia books too. lord of the flies was s**t. The bible gets boring when god gets preachy. Its like "and then George fell, for he did something wrong that god had seen, he stole a piece of candy" and yeah sucked. Hemingway does get a bit boring but i did like farewell to arms, his style of writing is good but he doesn't know what to talk about sometimes. And albert camus, like charles bukowski said, he's too calm about things, he doesnt feel nothing, and that always made the stories seem bland. west with the night by beryl markham made me wanna kill my self. mangas are boring. all of them, i can never follow the art and the talking. coma, i dont know who made it but it sucks a**. harry potter is so boring, i hate it with passion.

There was this one book (I forget what it was called, but it was a sequel to a book I liked). I stopped reading it right in the middle. I was so dissapointed in the character. She dropped everything about her (what she wore, ska music, etc) and decided it was "ok to be like everyone else". and when face to face with the problem, she does the wrong kind of thing. And she goes off all "la de da everything's fine, young pre-teen girls, it's ok to get pregnant!" i hated that book. soso much.
