Karen looked at the wolf a little afraid. She hoped that what she was sensing was nothing at all. She stood close to the wolf and Minty, because she felt a little safer with them close to her.

All she had heard where a few crows and some night animals stirring throughout the night.

Karen shivered some more when she still felt the presence near. She held onto Minty tightly as she looked out the door.
Minty began to look around the room. She then began to let out a low growl as her eyes seemed to follow something that was right outside the wall.

One of the caretakers came out from the cottage on the right side wall and looked around before swooping back in.

Karen saw the caretaker and lost her breath. She stumbled back, and fell onto the floor. She looked up as her backed was pressed up against the wall behind her. She gulped a little and looked out the door again.
Minty felt Karen let go of her and fall down. Minty repositioned herself closer to Karen.

The wolf was only waiting, wagging its tail, he knew the caretakers wouldn't harm him but he still remained defensive. He knew them ever since he was a wee little "pup".

Karen finally caught her breath and stood up again. She looked down at the wolf again. She then looked over to Minty and smiled. She decided to not be so afraid anymore.

The wolf danced around gleefully trying to cheer her up. With a quick blur a white glowing wolf tackled the shadow wolf and they began wrestling and rough housing and fighting.

Karen giggled as she watched the wolf pounce around. She then saw the white wolf appear out of no where. It tackled the shadow wolf and Karen just watched at what was going to happen.

After awhile of rough housing they both stared at each other growling barking to each other, but the words were hitting into Karen's mind like thunder claps, "What are you doing out here alone!" The white wolf said, saying this and not even acknowledging Karen and Minty until the shadow wolf said, "Well I was hanging out with some friends!"
