Theres one thing I have to like about it, some judges will tell you what you did wrong and what you can improve on. It sets new goals for you to become a better rider. Thats one thing I do like about showing (Depending on the judge as well) as long as its fun, why not?
I live for companionship, I've been out of the show ring for a couple years now but maybe soon to get into things again to give Riley the experience and to have some fun. I want to take him in some fun shows. I know theres one hosted every summer at the fair - so maybe in a year or two we'll be ready.
Spend the day together, just have fun riding and doing our thing. Till then, my favorite thing will be just chillin' in the pasture.

I personally find showing very relaxing. Yes, there's chaos right up until the moment that you enter the ring, but after that, it's just you and your horse. Performing as one to be perfect. It's a chance to prove how strong your bond is with your horse. If it's really strong, your horse will never take his attention off you.

I love showing! I am saving up so I can show in August. I hope I can show then. Like, the only reason I didn't show this past spring season is because me and my mom are in a financial rut, but I really plan on showing at the end of summer. And my trainer has me and Cocoa jumping 2 ft. now so I'm hoping I'll be able to show in 2ft again. I get very competitive.

I'm a strong believer in NHE, so I'm against competition.
I'm horseless at the moment, but horses, to me, are friends. Not something to be used as entertainment, or means to show off.
I don't mean to offend anyone, of course.
