mistergfreak Dylan looked back and saw the door. It was a bigger than his. He somehow felt that he wouldn't have the need to go in there, ever. But Dylan had to ask what to do. "So ... If i ever need you, do I just knock?"

Following Nerezza Icarri approached the manor. It cut a strong picture upon the landscape. Not overly large, but the rich red brick exterior was quite tasteful, and while it did not boast, spoke clearly of wealth and power. The lawns were well tended and the lands around them were beautifully cultivated to appear natural and lush.
"You have good taste in architecture" was all Icarri said as they reached the door.

Hinoicarri Following Nerezza Icarri approached the manor. It cut a strong picture upon the landscape. Not overly large, but the rich red brick exterior was quite tasteful, and while it did not boast, spoke clearly of wealth and power. "You have good taste in architecture" was all Icarri said as they reached the door.
"Thank-you, Icarri."
A tiny girl opened the door.
Elizabeth
She was obviously the maid.
"Welcome home, Mistress Nerezza."
Nerezza greeted the maid with sparkling eyes.
"Thank-you, Elizabeth. Meet Icarri. She'll be joining us."
Elizabeth smiled and bowed.
"Welcome, Icarri. Enjoy your stay."

"My dear, you have good presentation and your manners and hospitality are excellent, but you appear naive. You speak as though I am a guest and here of my own volition. This house, its inhabitants, and even its owner may be enjoyable, but I shall not enjoy my stay."

"Actually, its as this little lady wishes" Icarri tossed her head in Nerezza's direction giving her a look that questioned what her wishes were.

Hinoicarri "Actually, its as this little lady wishes" Icarri tossed her head in Nerezza's direction giving her a look that questioned what her wishes were.
"First I want to know what services you did for others, if any."
As if by silent command, Elizabeth came over with a plate, bearing a pot and two cups.
"You're tea, Mistress Nerezza."
Nerezza smiled pleasantly at the maid.
"Thank-you Elizabeth."
Elizabeth bowed politely and walked away, disappearing behind one of the many doors in the mansion.
Nerezza poured herself a cup of tea and stirred in two cubes of sugar and a bit of milk. She sipped it silently and waited for Icarri's answer with a straight face.

At Nerezza's question Icarri's cool demeanor was lost for once and she broke in a gale of laughter which lasted for a while before she could recover enough semblance of calm to respond.
"My little lady, if you think I have been a slave for long you are quite mistaken. I am a high ranking demon, I was the one in charge. I am quite well aware of the vast array of services asked of slaves, because I had many as well as petty underlings to weak to disobey me. There is nothing more unworthy of life then weaklings, even the slaves had more dignity" Icarri practically seethed with her intense hatred of weakness as she spoke.
"so what services did I do? well, simply stating it, I put weaklings in their place as well as giving orders to those who required them."

"Lovely. Then I might want you to keep watch over Elizabeth if I ever leave the household for a while. She can be a little troublesome at times."
Nerezza took another sip of her tea and looked back up at Icarri.
"We might talk about having you do other things around the house, but for now, about coming back to full power... Is there any way that I can help, or is it a thing that you have to do by yourself?"
